I think they've scattered most of it across present and future projects. One of the teaser snippets ended up as the hook of Kevin's Baby Boy and Matt's verse from another teaser was in Where the Cash at. I don't think these albums are lost, they were disassembled and their bits are being reused. I'd really like a HQ version of Ready For War tho, at the time it was their best tracks and there still aren't a lot that are better.

@@BBGirlSamus District, Tape and Weight are all in my top 10. Iridescence was woefully underrated. The reason it sounds like an anxious, depressed and overly agressive mess is because the Ameer controversy hit the group like a truck, it's a reflection of how they felt at that time. The whole album is an outburst and an emotional mess. Ginger is a more coherent and wiser reflection as they've had time to process those emotions and come to more conclusions. It was my most listened album on Spotify in 2018 and had some of my most replayed songs of the year. I don't like it as much as I did initially, obviously I've listened it to death at this point but it's damn good music, probably not the best material they've made especially now, but it was the deepest and most vulnerable album they've made.

I completely disagree, iridescence has some of the bands best songs EVER like Tonya, San Marcos, and J'Ouvert and New Orleans. Ginger has some amazing songs, like Sugar, Dearly Departed, and Boy Bye, but the album feels really disorganized, like you need to listen to the songs in a different order. Big Boy, Love Me For Life, and sadly Boy Bye all sound like they don't belong on the album too, LMFL and Big Boy should've could've been cut from the final product and the only thing I'd be sad about losing is Merlyn's verse on LMFL, the lack of cohesion and general disorder is what makes me like it as a full project a lot less.

Some of these claims are speculations. How can u definitely know they were talking about Ameer in these lines and Dom was talking about Puppy songs.
@jackl3in5 жыл бұрын
austin they aren’t that much speculation (although the puppy song part could be) there has been very similar things brought up in the past as they even showed in the video
@martubonzi6985 жыл бұрын
Actually Dom tweeted about Ameer's participation in a friend's robbery and he also talks about it im the song, so it's mega obvious they're talking about him
@erikkguerrero2 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure Dom is talking about Ameer’s domestic abuse not a robbery attempt

When in recording for puppy Dom wouldn't of known about Ameer's actions and therefore cannot be alluding to the tracks on Dearly Departed.

Rastko Sehovic not really allegedly. You really think they’d kick out their childhood friend if these things weren’t true?
@evelynnnveronica5 жыл бұрын
no_s3rvic3 they are signed to a label, and im sure it was the labels choice and they had to do it to keep up a good image. I dont think they wanted to kick him out but they had due to the public
@Aj-sn1dp5 жыл бұрын
@@evelynnnveronica After what he did to Dom I'm 100% it wasn't just the labels choice. And after the way Matt talks about upholding women and being respectful I'm 100% sure it wasn't just the labels choice. Their label has some of the MOST controversial people signed to it who consistently fucked up through their careers. I doubt it was the records choice only. It was a group decision and Ameer walked away
