turn 4 win on standard is literally exist since they released patches the pirate. warrior did it with aggro, demon hunter did it on turn 4 otk priest did it on turn 4 because they happen to draw discount elemental on current hearthstone druid did it by turn 5 and it's on standard.

I was there when this was made on day 1 of release. I can't believe this is just now coming out. Shows how low priority hearthstone has been to the audience compared to the Bazaar. I still want to see you play a few other things from standard like asteroid Shaman, but standard hasn't felt more fun with the new set. Standard seems to be quasar rogue, armor warrior to compete with quasar rogue, people playing dk to farm armor rogue and anyone playing fun decks.

Hoping you can answer this question as an experienced TCG player. But how do you or the community feel about TCG with High numerical values? Like instead of (1/1) its values in the (100/100) . Those kind of high values even into the 1,000's seem to only really happen in Japanese TCG's but I never really see them in Western TCG's

This is more from a game design perspective but i think the question's interesting so here i go anyway. the only reason for larger numbers is if you need more fidelity in the power of your cards. you can basically view them as decimal points and it's identical mechanically, and lets the designers more easily fine tune their cards. e.g. a 3/3 being nerfed to a 2/3 in hearthstone makes it' virtually unplayable, however if we equate it to say yugioh a 300/300 could theoretically be nerfed to a 290/300 or something. you have more control over the nerf. Marketing wise: big number feel bigger. yugioh wants you to feel like you're controlling incredibly powerful monsters, so sets all their stats in the thousands to make them feel super powerful. the problem with this is it increases complexity, which is why you rarely if ever see a yugioh card with stats like 1265/2341 (and even then with effects that multiply and divide stats it happens sometimes). they're always in multiples of 10 at least leaving the last digit as a 0. more complex numbers means more difficult math, which means the players have to *do* more difficult math when playing, which can be a pretty big deterant for play. So mostly i believe it's for complexity's sake that western tcgs avoid high numbers. 1-10 stat lines are easily approachable and make the game easier to pick up and play. which is ultimately the most important part of a design.

@@WIT_Boudicca I appreciate the input. A lot of that is my assumption about Game Design as well. But I have always wondered what players feel when they use cards with big numbers. TCG wise I have only ever played Yu-Gi-Oh and MTG and pretty much just accept both styles without issue. But I have never actually asked other players from other TCG's how they would feel. Like if Hearthstone 2 came out and they just added a 0-00's to all their cards, would players groan and avoid it? or Would they appreciate finer tuning and balancing. So like you said, something like 300 to 290 for card nerfing/balancing. As a digital game you wouldn't have to worry about players having to track everything on their own as the game itself can do all the math and number management.

@@SubzeroBlack68 i think that regardless of if the game tracks the stats itself the player still has to do the math. i.e. stuff like calculating lethal. i feel like public opinion would believe the game is power creeping, or that it would fundimentally change the identity of hearthstone. i personally don't see it being a good move, it would insinuate a more competitive, difficult hearthstone. which is counter intuitive to the game's identity as a casual zany rng fest. but that's just my personal feelings on it c:
