The level 8 was used with Vayu. It is pretty obvious but I guess he missed that. And the Sirocco/Vayu interaction was so good that a deck revolving around it (Vayu Turbo) saw play and was a top tier contender for a while.

If I'm not wrong the reason I'm assuming Crow didn't play Whirlwind is because most of his duels where Turbo Duels (aka Card Games on Motorcycles) and in that format the only spells that were used were gimmicky speed spells that barely made a aperreance. And I guess the few duels he did have where he could use spells he didn't play it. Still even with that Crow barely lost.

Silverwind was nice because if you use Vayu's GY effect to cheat it out, it bypasses the dumb triple material requirement and it's just a nice 2800 beatstick.

Sirocco effect is similar to Ghostrick Ghaul who have same effect. But both play differently each other despite have same effect as Sirocco can special summon like Cyber dragon if no monster u control which is a huge plus. While Ghoul your play when Socuteboss around which make Socuteboss so hard to kill plus the damage boost also apply himself unlike Sirocco which only + 3 monster att combine, Ghoul +4 monster combine.
