Hi Blue Yonder Initially it takes a while to get the suspension adjusted, but it's worth it. With this adjustment the handling of Brompton is much more practical. Always very Nice to have you on board!

Hi Idali If you ajust your Brompton suspension in the right spot, it works like that. I've made a video just about how to ajust the suspension block. SUSPENSION AJUSTMENT. It helps a lot to use the Brompton in the City with this adjustment Nice to have you on board!

I remember when english, Andrew Ritchie presented his ultra folding invention in the sixties. This extremely compact bike which gave rise to a lot of small, ½ size, folding bikes with one hinge in the middle, and riding horribly, because they didn't use the essential high pressure tyres, which is part of the Brompton secret. Now I have got my own, Lightweight version, and it is a bike for special use, as it does not ride as easy as a bike with larger wheels, but it comes close!

I have struggled with the blooming pedal, and now I no longer struggle! Your recommendation to push from the base of the underside is just brilliant! Hi Shelley This is fantastic! I noticed that we have new Brompton Lovers that don't have Brompton yet, but they already falling in love with Brompton. At first, folding and unfolding is a little scary, but then it becomes very easy. Explaining the levers makes it even easier. Nice to have you on board!

Chris, thank you for the instructions that you just gave about the easy way to open the Brompton. I just got mine and I have been practicing on opening and closing it. I’m just 5 feet and the Brompton is quite heavy for me to carry. I want to change those little wheels and buy an extension bar. Thank you for the instructional video on the wheels.

Danke schön Chris. I just unboxed mein Brompton this evening und finally sorted it und rode it. I couldn't figure out the gear shifting. Your videos helped. It doesn't seem to roll smoothly when folded. The front wheel rolls on the floor as well und a handlebar seems too close to the floor. Any advice? Danke sehr wieder!

I found that carrying my Brompton by the saddle meant that after a while the saddle rails started to creak, became loose and the saddle was soon knackered. I then had to buy a new saddle. So now I carry my bike by the frame below the saddle, but I don't carry it that often as normally when I am using it, I am riding it. Also I fitted SPD pedals and short Titec bar ends which transform the bike in terms of handling and control.

Hi Alex! When I have to carry Brompton for a long time, I carry it by the frame, but to suspend it quickly for short periods I carry it by the saddle. I still don't hear any different noise. But it is interesting becouse Brompton saddle itself has ergonomics to carry the Brompton. A good pedle a a confort handlebars make a great difference. Keep Safe! Keep Riding!

I hate the new - loose pedals (to eventually be lost!), and as I have for now got my 6 gears Lightweight down to 9,35 kilo, still with mudguards on, and still sinking from eventual lighter parts. I don't find it essential, also considering the about double price for the few kilo less weight, and gears! My former Top, Look Racing bike came down to 6,8 kilo but I'm a now 100 kilo man, so it isn't that essential. And loosing 10 - 20 kilos would be much more effective for the same/a better result!! But for my folding pedal I have some Thai made, Vincita Brand padded pouches for transport! They are insanely, absurdly expensive to buy, so don't consider this any kind of a recommendation!!! But they functions well, when transporting the bike! Finn. Denmark 🙂
