@Jay Johnson It’s true, McDonalds did clean up the ingredients list when they lost control of the narrative and identified their use of fillers as a competitive disadvantage in a changing market. McDonalds used fillers for years. The quality of the footage suggested to me that this documentary was over 10 years old. McDonalds burgers were found to have contained wood pulp as recently as 2014. They used soybean filler through the 2000’s as well. Therefore, it’s not unsubstantiated facts, it’s quantitative reasoning,

Here are the issues with McDonald's foods: 1) The quality of meats. 2) The type of chemicals used during processing (to preserve). 3) The period of time the food remains frozen. 4) Type of oil being used by stores (contains TBHQ) and how often its changed.

It’s a dressed up burger for a promo shot. It’d inedible they put stuff on it to make it look more photogenic, and the meat part they undercook so that it appears bigger then if it was fully cooked. They can get away with it because the law dictates that so long as you use the same patty it’s allowed and not deceitful advertising . It does look like in this instance though they severely undercooked it. Usually they just brown the outside parts for the promo shots.

I hope everyone realizes that this isn’t just McDonald’s that does this. Literally hundreds of places do this sort of thing. 9-10 times you will even see it done for Walmart, Sam’s, Harps, Slims, Raising Canes, etc. lol. Every single company listed does this. I just wanted to let everyone know 😊
