Talk about all out commitment and raising the level of what it means to sending it. Haiden Deegan single handedly dropped more jaws than anyone has since James Stewart was at his prime.

Have you ever met them, gave them a hand shake, do you not like Metal Mulisha ?? I don't get how u can say you don't like the 3 fastest kids in the sport that is my life, cause there the future and there all good kids..do you like Jo Shimoda ? He's awesome...did you like James Stewart as a young gun, or Ricky, or even Jeremy when he was just coming up on 125s on peak..I'm just curious what makes u not like the future of or sport...it can be cause they don't rip because all 3 are beyond fast and three not cocky kids either..I travel to races I've met them all several times...let me know this is no argument I really want to know ur in put on this...happy new year..

The kid has what it takes to be the next unstoppable force and HOF but sometimes he takes unnecessary risks. Gotta make sure the juice is worth the squeeze because he is part of a sport where you have to get it while you can because careers don't last long in this sport.

I was watching that also and in doing so I realized that the camera angle changes it's actually him doing the jump again at the beginning I had assumed he hit the jump one time and then they would show it from different angles
@wirefeed34195 ай бұрын
Jumping high while looking super cool is actually slower than ground speed, and has a higher risk of bike damage. Ideally he wants to go the same distance without so much pop up air. It can be done and that’s when he can really can put down fast laps.
@tankeater3 ай бұрын
@@wirefeed3419you are correct, but the longer you're in the air the more time you have to rest. Because the other riders had to roll what Deegan was landing on, it was the same time with more rest. 🤘

Although it looks cool, staying low is faster as you can see the guy was able to pull away before he could land. But yes he is one of the best and it’s because of his drive. And he has a great influence of a father that is a prime example of giving back. All his knowledge, time effort is in these kids of his. That in itself is a victory. If more Americans put time into their kids more than their job than the results would speak for themselves.
@rexhorning72285 ай бұрын
If there is any gains it would be from the section before the jump. Getting power from the top end and not letting up to position your self. A person might gain a little but it is a lot of risk. A bad landing could put you out of the race altogether. Definitely a crowd pleaser to see air time.

...and look at the guy on the ground sooner pull distance on him. Exactly why I always advocated for less innecessary big air in racing. The sooner you get back in contact with the dirt, the sooner your bike can use traction & power to keep accelerating forward instead of losing momentum coasting in the air.
