Catholism is trying to maintain the church that Jesus established with all it's rituals and traditions. God has a two fold purpose, one concerns He's earthly people and the other His heavenly people. Jesus came to earth to redeme He's earthly people, today believers are called Body of Christ, we are His heavenly people. Once the Apostle Paul came on the scene God's plan changed because of Israels unbelief and disobedience.
