Do I still use the same barrel(direction) even if you set the machine upside down?

Thank you for the video. My curls don’t hold for more than 30 mins, infact by the time I finish full head the first half’s curls are gone. Can you help with ensuring longer lasting curls?

Same problem for me... it’s so frustrating since it takes longer to curl each section, but then all gone by the time I’m done... I have tried everything as in damp hair, cool shot in the end but it DOES NOT LAST.

It depends on the structure of the hair, with some it doesn't hold because it doesn't get hot enough.
