I love this tutorial and use it most times I do my hair with air wrap for consistency! I also recommend putting mouse in the roofs to help the style stay longer if you haven’t tried that one. thanks for the videos as always :)

Can you pls let me know how did you do this? I bought my dyson airwrap and not working for me. So you hair should be a little bit damped when u use ur dyson? What setting do you use? Do you put it on maximum (3 dots)? and do you use the cold or heat when u curl your hair? Before using ur dyson, do u apply the bumble and bumble invisible oil heat protectant? Then you use gisou hair oil after curling ur hair? Please try to explain it further.

I had the dyson air wrap and I LOVED using it, but my curls just would not last. I like brushing out my hair after I curl it too and they all fell out, despite using the cool shot and using my normal hairspray 😭

Hey, I got the air wrap set ( full set ) just one day before Christmas as a birthday gift from my boyfriend. And girl, I’m obsessed. I’ve only been experimenting with it for a couple weeks now but let me tell you, I reach out for it everytime I wash my hair. Honestly I’m excited to do my hair now. I live in Mumbai which is very close to the coastal area and it gets really humid and hot around through the year. We don’t have the concept of winter at all. Let me tell you, the air wrap is more of a blow out tool than tight curls. This is something you’d want if you want your hair to naturally fall on a day to day basis. You basically do it once after your wash and you’re good to go till the next wash. I have straight limp hair so I’m always cribbing for volume and texture. The product in essence just makes your hair naturally have this bounce and casual look. But I love that it has minimal heat damage so I don’t think a lot even if I’m using it more than usual, unlike other heat tools like the revlon one step ( which i own and love but the con is - it gets really really hot and I’ve noticed that it’s more damaging ). I know it’s deep on the pocket and that I got it as a gift but it’s worth it. It was On my wish list because the deal breaker was minimal heat damage. If you can afford it , go for it! Update me in the future if you really do invest in it ! Have a nice day ☺️☺️☺️

Also I’d like to add that it really depends on the texture of your hair naturally as well. For me, curling iron curls don’t last even after setting it with spray. So I was mentally prepared that I won’t have same looking hair everyday! But you’ll enjoy the product and you know for a fact that you’re not putting your hair through a lot of torture in the name of heat !

I just wanted to add that what I do is I section hair straight up from my scalp and start wrapping halfway down to my scalp, so the ends should stick out. Then I move the barrel up and wrap the entire piece of hair onto the barrel. I do about 3-4 sections on the top of the head and then 1-2 sections on the side. Make sure you use the cold shot for about 10 seconds to cool the hair at the root. I hope this makes sense but it really works and adds nice volume to the top of the head area!

@@Julia-nq4mu hi, I did end up getting the longer barrel version last year and am so glad I did, as the finished look is fantastic regardless of your length of hair. Now my hair is mid way down my back and the barrel is still long enough to hold all my hair, so by buying the longer barrel , at least you get the versatility of using it on short or long hair and still get the same, quality finished look. I highly recommend purchasing this, it was game changer for me and with all the different attachments, you get to try out so many different styles. I hope this helps, as I know it is a big purchase to invest on a hairdryer. 😀

you should invest in a heat thermo styling .. i have heard the loreal pli shaper is amazing to hold these curls ! and then add a texturising hair spray once done. hope this helps

I had the same problem, since my hair is quite long and thick. Not combing through the hair and brushing the curls out for at least 20-30 minutes after you are done has helped me a lot. Maybe this might help you too?

I was the exact same! I had tape extensions put in to repair the damage, gave myself 6 months off heat and my hair is growing back nicely, much stronger than before. I think maybe some of the pulling would be bad for weak hairs in my opinion!

I bought the Dyson airwrap and I’m thinking about returning it. The biggest turnoff is that it doesn’t work in other countries. So, if you spend $600 on a hairdryer and you travel to other countries, you can’t use it there. In addition to that, I have frizzy hair and this is not working. At all.
