Hey loves... I am genuinely overwhelmed by your support. I love you lots and I'm really grateful, just please give me a little time to reply to you all!
A Scarian (Grian / GoodTimesWithScar) animation (idk why I wrote animatic in the video, I am a little stupid) of the life series ft Third, Last, Double and Secret Life
aha hh everything I would want to say is at the end of the video. Thank you for the support, trafficblr folk!! It is seriously so meaningful to me. I'm sorry I'm bad at drawing humans, at least in a consistent style, and also I'm ASS at outfit design. Obviously animals are my specialty lol. A theme I wanted to do but didn't end uo getting across too well was Grian's wings getting smaller with each series, until they sprout again at the very end

Just. Wow. This might be the best desert duo animatic i've seen. The scenes you chose and the way you portrayed them, the fluid animation showing all the emotions they were going through (the expressions!). I especially love the 3rd life part as that was exactly how i pictured it and you brought it to life flawlessly. The travelling together through series part was amaizing too and how it contrasted with Scar dying alone in double life. I love this animation, it brought so many emotions and i know i'll be coming back watch it again and again.

When I first saw the wip of the black shilouette i really enjoyed the song, i listened to the song for hours on end because of how good it was, the song AND the animation is so unbelievably good, how excited we've been to see the full animation and YOU DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I have a special playlist with all the animations from different fandoms that i have been a part of. I carefully choose pieces of art based on not only the pretty picture, but on how it makes me feel as well. I value the thought and the atmosphere wich the creator tries to convey to the viewer. This video is soaked with emotion. The various color schemes and designs make your creation really stand out. Needless to say, it goes straight to the playlist for me to rewatch it again and again long after I leave the community, so that it'll remind me of how it felt to be in it. I've been looping this for the past couple of days and am still speechless. This is a magical animation- I don't know how else to describe it. I love this so so so much, there's so much love and care and passion poured into this and it shines like the sun. Personally I've related to it in a way that's helped me process some of my own emotions and that is the amazing and yummy cherry on top of the best made cake or shake. It makes me tear up with Grian, my chest feel for him and Scar and every little expression(Scar's little smile before it switches to DL; Grian closing his eyes and relaxing into Scar at the end) within these moments. Its an wonderful experience and my head cannot get enough of each frame, transition, and colors- you have done amazing

This is absolutely amazing! Oh my gosh! I love the scene at 1:00 where Grian and Scar are on the camel and Grian just leans his head on Scar. He just seems like he wants to relax and spend time with Scar, there's some other emotion too, but I just can't describe it. The scene at 0:22 is perfect, you convey the emotions so well, I just want to reach through the screen and give Scar a hug! I also love how at 2:03 you showed all the different versions of Grian and Scar throughout the animation! I know almost nothing about animating, but I do know that animations take awhile, especially if they're in color. The music is a perfect choice and the animation is smooth and just absolutely perfect!

This is incredible! The switching between the seasons while they ride the horses (and Pizza and the camel) is so cool, and I think that's my favourite way I've seen desert duo's final death of double life be shown - immediately switching from when they're both safe in Secret Life, to Scar being alone suddenly makes him seem so shocked, and makes it so dramatic!

I dunno if it was intentional or not, but I love the beginning where it looks like Grian loosens his grip on the sunflowers, but Scar hugs the poppies and lilacs tighter... idk, it such a small detail but it feels fitting and symbolic of their personalities as well as their relationship. ALSO I am painfully obsessed with the animation of Grian holding Scar closer in the cactus ring. MY HEARTT DX This animation is so smooth and beautiful, I am absolutely blown away

Dude this is so good, like , everything is animated in some way and the movements feel so natural and fluid and danggg, the emotions and overall atmosphere is portrayed so well through these small but significant movements in their expressions and body language, it is so nice to watch and jus satisfying, and the idea with the wings getting smaller is so cool!! Just overall i also love the symbolism in certain parts and just aaagghh its so well done, i love this animatic so much, its so soft but melancholic? oh this hurts so bad but this is incredible holy crap - the way you depicted both scar and grian dying a slow, painful and dark death , completely isolated from eachother with grian dying in the dark cave and scar struggling to push through and inevitably losing his life.. i really have no words, this is a masterpiece. thank you

The animal gaits at 0:55 are so beautiful! Especially the horses running I'm absolutely enchanted! I love how each of the silhouette scenes have a different color palette that contrasts with each other implying a different time and place, and representing a different season. And how Grian rests his head on Scar's shoulder, Scar smiling slightly and then the immediate change in atmosphere. This song gives the animation and desert duo a really unique vibe, I love how you paired the line "how can I forgive you?" with Grian and BigB being together and Scar alone with the jellies comforting him. There are so many more details that I love but I'd be here for a while if I listed them all so i'm going to stop now 😅

This animation is so emotional, lively, and inspiring. Im studying art right now on the road to a distination with a burnout, and this animation really wants me to try and use an animation software and try and achieve an emotional sad/happy feeling in my artwork. Along with trying to depict some of my own srories ive been writing. You are so inspirational, thank you. This animation is stunning and beautiful. Man, the art and animation in this is so tangible that I can like rip my teeth though it. Like, dang. It's so good. Like, I have been watching it and rewatching. Like, the cactus ring scene gets me every time. Like, the twitching wings--THAT COME BACK AT THE END--and grian's face!!! It's so unhinged and emotional and like, damn, I could watch a whole ghibli film like this. Like the deep seated desire for this to be an entire 1 hour movie is a feeling i cannot escape omg. I cannot emphasize how much I love grians face and expressions in that scene. And gosh this animation being the so many times when grian has taken something from scar I like just connected those dots like from taking his lives to secret soulmates to dying alone gosh man this desert really duos the angst and poor scar and oh grian also poor guys. Gosh like also the animals omg omg omg gosh I'm holding this animation in my hands like a kitten gosh gosh gosh also I love the way you draw hair like grian leaning his head against scars back is so shape and also the point of his nose as he digs his face into his chest in that hug I can like feel that secondhand omg omg and scar falling off the horse is so devastating ausksnocnwocnwoocjwnwjkc I presume the designs at the end are like, they're on hermitcraft? My heart ❤️

The moment I saw the clip of fully animated, fully lined, fully colored and shaded and PAINTED BACKGROUNDS FOR GODS SAKE I was blown away. And then you proceeded to do this for every single frame of the entire animation. You had me open mouthed sobbing in under a minute. Honestly, this is one of the most amazing KZbin animations I’ve ever seen. Everything in it, from thoughtful details and character designs, a unique color palette for each scene and the production of each frame, to a smooth animation from which you can not take your eyes off.
