I know one day Jai will look back at all the video footage of her speaking about her divorce and broken relationship and say to herself wow, I can't believe I spent so much time and shed so many tears over that man. I'm so glad that with God's help I finally moved on and began a new chapter in my life. God took away all the hurt, pain, anger. Thanks be to God that now I'm free. But just like Joyce always says, you've got to give up the ashes for the beauty that God has. One thing that God has always told me is the more I hold on to my problem the stronger it becomes. We have to let go and let God.

I think she will look back on her journey and know how God has been there for her. How this could have taken her out but she has come so far. I pray I never have to face what she has had to face. it's a death and it's a grieving process. If I had to go through what she has gone through with her ex I don't know if I could be as graceful and forgiving. God is showing us through her how pain is not the end. HE is shining through her. I would love to have friends like these lovely ladies in my life.

That sounds good until you’re in the middle of it. We are not the same. We want to rush through everything even as Christians. Bring a Christian doesn’t make the pain any less or go away any quicker. It just gives you a Source Stronger and Wiser than Ourselves.

I went through a similar divorce years ago. My son was not even 2 and I was 2 months pregnant with my 2nd child when I found out he was cheating. It was absolutely devastating. Jump forward a few years and my motto became Garth Brooks song "I Thank God for Unanswered Prayers". Now jump to today and I am remarried we have a 21 year old daughter as well as my two oldest and we are Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year. I say this to say trust God he knows what he is doing. 🙏❤🙏

I left my husband in a bad way back in 1994 and I am now 54, and after having been in a couple of really abusive relationships, I am still single. Nothing good has come out of it and I beat myself up every day when I see the beautiful life I could have had with him as he is a Colonel in the Military and has travelled the world. When I look at my sons, I am reminded of this every day. I try to believe that the life I have of being single, which at least allows me to follow my 2 military sons wherever they go and to be able to love them and my dogs in the way I want to without having to answer to anyone, as I had to in the past, is God's plan for me. Your ministry helps me trust God through my times of doubt, and I always do good for others in any way I am able to. I love all of you and thank God for you. Big hugs for all of you.

This is good! I am in this season now. I was in an instance when I believed God would........ BUT it didn't happen. God has ministered me into that place of trusting him MORE even when my thoughts, ways and , plans, I thought, would be the result. I'm really struggling through a similar season. I'm still caught between thinking I'm okay and suddenly being very not okay again. I just keep hoping that eventually, God will fix it somehow... fix me, fix my life, fix everything. I truly trusted Him with something most precious to me, and it's all destroyed now. Morning. Ever since I started to understand God and pray every day. I have this wander full vision about myself be in a better place and blessed with many things that I wished for. Jai, I feel your pain, frustration, grief, confusion…. N it’s not feeling right. It doesn’t feel fair! For me still, I am having a really hard time believing in any dreams. Sure I am praying n claiming what God says. Yet, now with Christmas, n that is ‘our’ favourite time of year, in this moment, it’s feeling too much. The physical issues are not helping either. I choose to trust God, on purpose, n I choose to put on, Joy, Hope, Peace, Love n I set my mind n keep it set to the fact that I will use n release my faith…. I’m hanging on, so tired of this, so tired. I thank You God that I feel Your presence. I refuse to live in misery, I live in Jesus… Honestly, I want Jesus to take me home to heaven. It hurts. I will keep praying for you Jai n everyone else too. I pray for everyone alive, it’s what God has asked me to do. I pray for my former fiancé’s safety, n to be living happy, joyous, free n to Thrive. I too have had a lot of heart breaking, scary things happen in my life. And I do always initially, briefly, ask God "why?". But one of God's PROMISES that has always pulled me through to a good place, is his PROMISE to "work ALL things to our good".

I love this group. If you watch several podcasts which I have I end up turning it off or choosing another video because I do have a lot of empathy for divorce BUT that’s all I hear about from one member. I am aware of the divorce and the infidelity by her ex husband. I just wish by now we would hear about her journey outside of the divorce and the infidelity. There are women in their 60s, 70s that are starting over after 30 plus years of marriage. God Bless us today and always. And I pray that next podcast we hear less about the divorce and more about her new life. Amen

I truly believe the reason Jesus did not show up while Lazarus was sick was to show everyone his supernatural abilities after the fact. To trust in HIS ways and timing. God knows when. In today's society some people do not believe in his supernatural powers or redemptive love. There was a talking donkey in the Bible and there are talking parrots today. It's. All. True. Trust his miracle working supernatural abilities. Just hit the 30 minute mark and I have a feeling Joyce is headed the same direction I'm thinking. I probably should've waited to comment, LOL.

I am going through my 3rd divorce. This is the hardest one because I gave my all to someone who didn't give anything. He has chosen prostitutes over me. He feels justified to have sex with me even though he is unfaithful. I am a child of God! I don't deserve to be put in the gutter with his yuck. J's story is really helping me. She's ahead of me on this journey just a bit and God is using her story for me to have hope in where God is bringing me. I refuse to not get better too.

Exactly, Ladies…. I always liken my last 6 years straight as me being the 5 foot blow up Bozo the clown toy. I get punched in the face, in the gut, get knocked to the ground, pop back up, only to be knocked down again the minute I pop back up. Yet, we are SO SO SO BLESSED when we compare or relate our hurts and setbacks in life with others setbacks, whom may have it so much worse than we do…Amen 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻

Why do Christians not understand agency? People always say, "why do bad things happen, God could have stopped it?" Yes, yes he could have. Remember there was a war in Heaven. Satan wanted to win. Satan wanted to control us, tell us what to do etc. Jesus and his followers rejected that plan, it wasn't good for us. So.......WE ARE FREE TO CHOOSE. God does NOT take peoples agency away from them. He honors it. And that includes bad people doing bad things, and even good people making poor choices. ALL the bad, unfair, and mean things that happen in this life, will all be fixed and worked out in the end. God will make everything right in the end. Have Faith!
