*Just because Pogba is saying what alot of the fans agree with doesn't give him the right to say it or reduce his effort* People overlook Pogba's blatent undermining of his boss because they agree with his points..🤦🏾♂️ If your manager at work has as plan that he believes will bring success but 4 or 5 members of the team are not following the plan with 100% commitment.. How will you ever be able to know without doubt whether that plan would of worked or not 🤷🏾♂️ If u disagree with the way your manager wants to you perform at work or have an idea that you think is better.. that doesn't give you an excuse to not put 100% effort into what he/she is asking you to do.. because regardless of his plan you should want success for the team you are in! This is my problem with Pogba and a few other players I haven't seen them put in 100% effort over a prolonged period of time. If this was the case you could say without any doubt your managers plan isn't good enough. *BUT RIGHT NOW YOU CAN ONLY ASSUME IT ISNT* Pep Guardiola who many believe has the best plan for his team to follow doesn't win every game but still expects 100% effort from his players in the next match irregardless of whether the previous match was won lost or draw. 90% or 95% effort isn't acceptable especially when their are often fine margins between success and failure.

They can criticise Pogba as much as they want, but as former footballers, how can they not recognise that the system Pogba’s in at the moment massively limits him and many of the other players. Lukaku at Everton wasnt a hold up striker, he was running into channels and running at players with power. Sanchez has been limited because theres so little movement. Martial struggles. Rashfords struggling. The thing in common with all these players is they play better for their countries in different systems with different managers, how are we all of a sudden blind to that. And saying Modric ran circles round Pogba in the final is literally scandalous. Sky Sports gave Pogba MotM saying he kept his discipline when so many in his team didnt and eventually outgunned Modric. Sky also gave Kante a 5 out of 10, lowest in the French team, so to say Kante makes Pogba in this French team is ridiculous. Just because you used to play the game doesnt make you a good pundit, this hype round Modric atm has clearly gone to Bellamy’s head. Please employ someone with intellect Sky.

The decrease in form from these players is a direct result in Mourniho's mental state. Hes unhealthy, controlling, and trying to gaslight his players, rather than build them up. He makes little sense in press conferences and is uncomfortable. Transmitting terrible energy onto his players and at least Pogba is bringing light to it. Best comment in this video comes at 13:37.

That says a lot when players like Buffon and Pirlo say that.

Fergie let him go for a reason. The Kid was playing up and he is doing it again. I also think the biggest problem with MUFC is not Jose or Pogba etc, because the football has been flat since Moyes. I think Fergie retiring ripped the heart out of the club, because he was so influential there. Filling a void like that is very different to replacing managers at struggling clubs etc. Liverpool are a good example of that. They still have not recovered their dominance of the 70s and early 80s. MUFC also went through that after Matt Busby, but we were lucky the club found Fergie and had another era of dominance. All I want from Jose is for him to steady the ship, develop players, and keep us competitive. I want him to hold the fort. I do not expect him to be the next great.

I don't know how Mourinho manages to split the team in groups and creates a ton of drama in every big club he has been to (no disrespect to Porto, but you get my point). He done it in Real M with the Spanish players, Inter with Thiago Motta. Maicon and Eto'o, Chelsea and the whole team including the medical stuff... I wonder how long will people back him up, isn't clear enough already, he must be sacked ASAP. I don't agree with Pogba commenting left and right in the media, but I believe a lot of players are also disappointed from the playing style and their tactical instructions. If Mourinho stays and Pogba leaves, he won't be the only one, Martial,Sanchez,Rashford,Smalling,Jones,Bailly and probably Luke Shaw will departure by the end of the season as well, which will lead to another 400-500 millions on transfers. Mourinho will always find someone to take the blame about his results and that is clear as day. I still don't understand how the board and some of the fans let Jose walk away very easy after his comments after the game with Sevilla. I really hope Jose will understand that he is not the man for this club and resigns very soon.

Bellami is right in that if you play with Kante you're probably gonna look good. People also need to take into account Pogba's group stage games when judging his world cup performances (he was a non-factor the first 2 games, if I remember correctly). Was he the most influential in that France team? No by miles. Kante, Mbappe, Griezmann, Matuidi, Varane, Umtiti, even Giroud was very underrated and played his part well. Look at Hazards numbers the same year this happened at Chelsea. The players were ready to organize a walk-out in the locker room.

Why can't players speak up to the manager about playing style? The players are on the pitch to do the job, if they are not happy with the playing style think it is not working, you should always make the manager know. How can a club do good if players keep being unhappy with the manager? It is a game of 11 players on the pitch and players have to be on the same wavelength. That is the problem with United at the moment.

@Muistimetalli6 жыл бұрын
I agree that Chelsea was right to let him go, being in a relegation battle around Christmas, and the stuff with the physio made him deserve the sacking. However, I believe that Mourinho can still do it with the right club and the right players. He'd be good at club like Juventus or Atletico Madrid that are used to playing defensive football, and actually have good defenders. United have bad defenders (except arguably Valencia) and their tradition is to attack, so it's not a good fit.

Muistimetalli Muistimetalli but at Chelsea the decision to sign and sell a player ultimately relies on the board even mourinho in his first spell at Chelsea didn't want to buy shevchenko but the board wanted him mourinho in most of the games didn't play him because he didn't fit in his tactics and knew he will flop at Chelsea but the board didn't agree with him and sacked him and Conte had a similar situation as well when he sold Costa ( which was actually conte's fault) Conte gave the board a list of strikers to replace costa. the board went out and signed morata when he wasn't even a 3rd choice signing (Lukaku being 1st choice at that time)
@Muistimetalli6 жыл бұрын
fair enough, but Mourinho didn't give a chance to De Bruyne, Salah or Lukaku. So it's because of him that the players wanted to leave. so I agree with the signing part, but not completely on the selling.

He has been beaten them down, not used them well, not used some in there preferred positions, had to work with some players he sent away from his former club. Honestly, Pogba may just be the most vocal of the group. Mou's style is old, and he has a history of clashing with the biggest players in the teams he has managed. Here an opinion that I share. There are plenty of troubles in Man Udt that are in the shadows. Jose was always a great coach, I followed him when he managed Leiria (Portugal) then he could bring that team to almost top place. Then Porto.... He really did something with teams with very lack starts... Actually he was the responsible for the rise of many of them. Man Utd is not as well the same team that Sir. Alex Fergunson left, and the structure also not. Do you think that all coaches that passed in Manchester in the recent years are bad and the only source of problems of the club? Something is wrong . Somebody that knows Mourinho knows that if he gots what he needs he delivers. If there are problems in the shadows, like happend for example in Chelsea, then do not expect that he is the savior.

The buck stops at the top -Woodward. He gave Jose extension last January 2018, then you have to back manager. Woodward then didn't in the summer when United clearly needed better players in problem positions to challenge City, Liverpool and even Spurs and Chelsea. Dumping Mourinho will, overall, not make United better than those 4 clubs. Ditching Pogba will not make United better than those 4 clubs. Woodward (and Glazers) priority is money and marketing, and this disfunction will not change with choosing either Mourinho or Pogba. It's a systemic malaise at Old Trafford, and the media doesn't help because a dumpster fire sells more papers and content and hits than talking about underdog smaller clubs or the cash infused top 4 clubs.

I get the feeling that players are now just playing like the manager tells them to play, and nothing outside of that, if it doesn't work its the manager's fault, rather than the don't have the heart for club, the players and the fans. That's what i understand from watching certain players from our club, it just doesn't look right, something just doesn't look right, and given JM's track record of the way he plays, i wouldn't put it past him... And by the way, would Juventus take Pogba on, even without Pirlo behind him? I'm not so sure... I think they just want a bargain for him and that's why they were in for him, they've done it with numerous players, all they care about is making money, not always trophies, Ronaldo was really a bargain, considering how much he brings to the club, social media etc..,

What about Antonio Valencia, the senior captain, liking a post calling for mourinho to be sacked? Pogba isn't bigger than man united, but his close personal relationship with the players is bigger, the marketing and merchandise he brings is bigger than mourinho, mourinho bitter, he showed that with his snidey comments at every single press conference since last February, with his snidey comments directed at pogba on the training ground. Murphy is right, mourinho needs to grow a pair and sit down and talk to pogba instead of continuing this pathetic "the media is always against me" stance when publicly humiliating his own players... "He's gonna be the best player in the world and im gonna make it happen" he said the same about hazard, months before it fell apart at Chelsea. Mourinho is driven by ego, he's the selfish one in all this not pogba, he was unfairly treated and sold by man united and he was overjoyed to return, mourinho needs to respect that, he is an idol to some of the younger players and along with Zlatan he built a brilliant relationship with them on and off the pitch, mourinho hasn't got it in him to understand or utilitise this power, instead he takes it as a threat and lashes out... Whats happening at man united is embarrassing, and if they sell pogba it will only continue... How many times has he publicly insulted Shaw saying he isn't good enough etc, only to then rely on him due to injury and see him put in MotM performances? Of course that's embarrassing for him, and he stays bitter till the end. Just like at real Madrid, just like at Chelsea.2... He can only work with submissive players that don't have a high profile, that's why he was so successful at Porto and his first spell at Chelsea, a bunch of yes men just happy to be there, as soon as you question his boring style of football and negative tactics, he acts like a school girl... Im a Liverpool fan but a football fan first, mourinho needs to leave, Mino Raola needs to leave, for the sake of english football. Man city's billions and klopps humble genius can't carry the weight of a nation, Chelsea and arsenal are rebuilding, Tottenham are a deer in traffic lights, wheres the other "big team"? Noone knows cuz mourinho is too busy picking wars with people who question his poor decisions... On paper they have the second best squad in the league, add the manager and his philosophy, they're gonna struggle to keep up with Watford and Wolves... It isnt a question of mourinho or pogba who should go, its a question of mourinho, when will he go. Whether pogba goes or not... He sold lukaku for kissing a penalty, he arrived in England and said Mata (most assists over two seasons at that time) wasn't good enough and sold him. Now lukaku is his only striker and Mata is his only creative midfielder, sat on the bench? It's ridiculous, he's ridiculous... And the narrative of complaining he hasn't got defenders is pathetic. You took the managers job with smalling Jones and rojo - you thought they were good enough, then you bought bailey and lindlelof - if out of those five you haven't got two defenders good enough, it is solely the fault of Jose mourinho... Look what klopp achieved with lovren, skrtel and klavan... We've barely conceded any goals in 2018 and most of that time was wit calamitous Karius between the posts. Blaming other people for your lack of competency is a joke and man united is a mockery atm, i pity loyal supporters who actually side with mourinho because they're blinded by their own passion and fail to see... If a bus driver crashes a bus it isn't the passengers fault. Pogba is a passenger who doesn't want to stay seated, he's also a celebrity with a big following and respect within the other passengers, a smart man would speak to pogba and get the players on board his sinking ship, a bitter manager will try to play 1920s style propaganda games with the media and pick fights with ed Woodward before taking any responsibility for the mess he has created by himself... Lucky for real Madrid they had bigger players and less on the line to lose when they sacked him or this would of happened at real too, just as it did at Chelsea... If mourinho was manager of Bournemouth or Burnley he'd be smiling in the media, playing decent football and pushing for a place in Europe. He's not a top manager, he's a tactician who had a good season then got lucky riding the wave... Game over
