How Can The Washington Nationals Improve Heading Into 2025?

If the Nats can sign a front-line pitcher and a corner infielder, they should be able to compete for a playoff slot. I don't believe they should trade any of their prospects but could trade Garcia and move Tena to second base because he's clearly not comfortable at third.

We are nowhere good enough to trade anyone yet, we don’t know who they are or what we need. When Luis Garcia is your best player, it’s not time to trade pieces. Time to sign Max Scherzer and Jayson Werth (figuratively). Maybe a Daniel Murphy. Some serious leadership to raise the youth to their potential.

Start resigning ourselves that unless a major development and improvement happen this offseason Abrams isn't a SS.
