How Can We Enjoy Game Again

Have you ever sat at your desk for hours, staring at your library, only to play one game for a few minutes before quitting and searching for something else?
Remember those 2000s potato-quality games like Diablo 2, Hero Might and Magic or Baldur Gate and you can spend all afternoon playing. Why game nowaday feel repetitive and exhausted and only few games are really refreshing like elder ring, seriko, zelda or recently baldur’s gate 3. Well in this video I try to find the reason behind this and also try to find a way we can again enjoy gaming.

For me its not the games but myself. As a kid it was way more easily to get excited for thing. I was a naive and kind of "less intelligent" child because I was a late developer but people expected me to do things kids in my age do and for me it was all exciting and cool because I didnt felt like I should do this because I did not felt I was ready for it but I had to because people said. So everything in my life was cool, exciting and new. Now as an adult, full grown and mostly done with my evolution to an adult (i am 28 years old) I feel like especially in gaming that I saw everything. Sure I have my favorite games and genre but everything feels like I played it already no matter what. I tried almost every genre and games. Besides that I got new hobbies besides videogames like going to the gym, going for a walk almost every day in the park because it feels relaxing and collect boardgames as a hobby too. But everything feel dull after a few time and I came to the conclusion that its me. I am the problem because I always need something new in my life to keep me excited. Sadly the life is not like this especially when you dont have much money to spend so it became normal for me that my life feels dull and meaningless from time to time.

Its what I did back then through TikTok (twas a short time,but pretty fun) Best case scenario you'll find people like you,or better,and you'll build a community/cult And afterwards,instead of seeking thrills,provide them for others Trust,it helps

This is weird to me, because i always have something to look forward to. I play wow at the moment, mostly collect achivements, do stuff with guild mates. I play league of legends with my friends over voice chat at talk about variety of topics. I have so many games to play but i dont have time for it like Slay the spire, witcher 3, heroes of might and magic 3. When im not feeling into playing i have a lot of books to re-read or to catch up, same with movies and tv shows. And every other or every 3 weekends i meet with my friends and we play board games. Because i dont do 1 stuff until im burned out everything feels new and amazing to me. When im feeling i dont have fun with a game i usually quit for months or sometimes even years and in the mean time i try different games and genre that i have never played before. Maybe you should do the same

"A reader lives a thousand lives." I've lived so many lives through games that it's rare to immerse myself anymore. Last one was almost two years ago when I played through Metro Exodus. BG3 didn't even immerse me. I live to experience as many stories as I can since life is so short and pointless.

The reason why I started with videogames was in fact because to run away from reality. Because When I was 4 years Old I was in hospital because of a heart problem and had a few operations to take and it was really scarry so my dad bought me a gameboy so I can play and forget all the hospital things around me. Since then life gets harder and harder and I played videogames to forget my lonelyness and all the problems around me.

Bro, your work is always awesome, thought provoking. Suggestion from me: Just work on your thoughts and don't be in a hurry to upload more videos. Upload your work only when it is good . Whether it takes 1 month, 2 months or even a year, just maintain your video standards.
