Well I hope this changes something so that little girl didn't die for nothing. Sometimes that's the way things work out other times it's just another forgotten episode. Of course never forgotten by the mother and the people that loved her and cared and tried to save her without any luck. After she was given to the dad why couldn't it be reviewed you know if the mother had worries and she didn't think that they had taken enough time to review his background why couldn't it have been looked at again you know that's what I don't get!

If anybody's ever gotten a black eye as an adult you know how much it hurts what could a child do to get a punch in the I it probably broke up the bones around her eyes who knows I can't even imagine what that little girl lives through you know getting punched for things instead of and what about the other children I mean when things start looking shady why were those children still left in his care.

I was going to defend judge cps till I heard his criminal record, thing is foster care is horrible for a baby unless they really love and bonding which they don’t . Cps can be a kid without much experience, my sister a cps worker wouldn’t let this happen that’s for sure but also remember a lot of people call cps to embarrass parents and give them a hard time . Good parents are offended as you guys would be too and probably know who called . He should’ve had to consistently prove he had a good liovung home giving his record , so custody with a watchful eye for the first year . Problem is judge only sees what’s presented too . I bet in the future him and fellow judges will do just that . Automatic agent watching for first year or so . These judges go through so many cases they’re emotionally detached so need to implement safeguarding.

The judge MOST ASSUREDLY had Adam Montgomery’s criminal history in hand … no need to wait for any report on that. No parent with such a violent criminal history should be considered for custody of a child … that is only moral and common sense. WHAT a pathetic excuse. Judges are pretty repetitive, they use the same factors over & over. They get nothing out of hurting kids. Adam had 50 hours of visits, came to court, no history of abuse, prison can't be used to exclude somebody from their children. CPS is not supposed to immediately cut off involvement when he gets custody, there's a reason the judge sent her with Adam & "being mean" is not likely the reason.

It's evident that Kayla played a role in this tragic situation by failing to report the abuse and possibly enabling Adam's actions. If the garbage step mother had done something to protect the poor little baby, this wouldn't have happened. Then you work up to DCF, other relatives and social workers, the attorneys and judges, etc. The fault is absolutely not in the good, decent people who stepped in and saved her brother from that mother, period. I think it was 1: for the welfare money, that both Adam and Kayla didn’t use to help raise sweet Harmony 2: to purely spite Harmony’s biological mum, to “win” custody over her, I use the word “win” because I think that how that monster would of looked at it, winning, not because it was in the “best” interest in Harmony’s care and welfare!! It’s beyond tragic, so many childless couples would of given anything to have had the chance to adopt this beautiful little girl and raise her with pure love 😓

Adam and Crystal both should have lost custody of Harmony before she turned 2 years old. There was irreparable damage done to poor Harmony before they gave him custody. She needed stability and love but was denied both in the interest of parents rights and family reunification. We need to worry about children’s rights and keeping kids with their siblings, not how to keep them in the family’s that abused and neglected them in the first place.

Exactly! I want to know why were Harmony and her little brother separated to begin with?
@StarsAndNostalgia
@StarsAndNostalgia 10 ай бұрын
Because the kids get separated when they both get taken because most of the time a foster family can't or won't take more then 1 child at a time. Therefore one kid will go here and another will go there. It also depends on the county. One kid could have been in one county and another in another county. That would make them involved in 2 different CPS counties and cases. Also, stop being so judgemental towards addicts. It's a disease. I think the mother loved her daughter but just couldn't get sober. Or perhaps CPS did her dirty and she ended up relapsing because of it and lost her child. you guys don't know the story of the mothers situation. CPS is a nightmare to deal with. It's never enough to get your kid back and it's easier to just relapse and take the pain away by numbing it with what addicts know how to use - drugs or alcohol. It's awful and you should learn more about something before you comment on it. That's why neither of you know why the siblings were separated smh

And her mother is unfit. Don't forget that little part. Obviously Adam and Kayla Montgomery are solely responsible for what they did, but had the mother been even a little bit fit to begin with, and had she not lost her children to the government, Adam would never have had the chance to abuse and then murder Harmony. Don't let her off the hook. She is not innocent in this. Saying "poor her" and "she begged the court for custody" is absolutely nonsense. I never lost my children. They did not take both of her kids for no reason. She's got blame here, as well. The fact that even now, she's lying to make herself look more sympathetic is vile, and shows you that neither of those poor kids stood a single chance with her as mother. Thank goodness at least little Jameson was saved and can now live a decent, functional life. If the entire government hasn't also failed harmony, she'd have had the same chance as Jameson, which she deserved. It's disgusting that filth like that has children without even thinking about it, and it takes a literal act of the government to remove them.

I remember reading, but I can't remember where, DCYF worker Tsoras knew Adam from when he was in juvenile jail. Then, many years later, Tsoras was sent out to Adams residence for a child wellness check. Tsoras stated in court he got out of his vehicle and about 30 feet away he saw a man and child getting into a vehicle. He said...I recognized Adam... then the prosecutor cut him off. Obviously, the defense attorney didn't know Tsoras already knew Adam in the past. I believe Tsoras didn't take Harmony into state custody, because he gave Adam special privilege. Remember, police were called to the Guilford St residence 14 times within 4 months, yet they never arrested him or took away his children. And the police knew the family was house squatting and running an old dilapidated generator for utility power. Harmony... this poor girls life could have been saved many times, but government paid servants of the people didn't believe she was worth the paperwork...pathetic!

While at the house, Kayla and her children were under my protection. After learning she caused the unnecessary problem, I firmly told her... you're on your own. I can't believe I have to keep telling adult people this. Judges. Cannot. Be. Prosecuted. For. Decisions. They. Make. While. On. The. Bench. They have absolute immunity. And it is hardly the same thing as Crumbly's idiot parents, who literally put a gun into the hands of their mentally unstable son who they admittedly knew was having mental health issues, and LAUGHED AT HIM and told him to "suck it up" when he begged them to get him help. Why do you not know that judges can't be charged criminally or sued civilly for decisions they make on the bench? That's not exactly esoteric information. Everyone should know that. If you're an American and didn't know that, you should be ashamed of yourself; first for comparing the two cases, and second, for being so utterly ignorant as to how our government works.

She didnt even return phone calls from DCFS, trying to verify Harmony’s address. If you care about the actual facts surrounding what Harmony endured, her report from the child advocate is free and easily accessible on google. It will outline each time Crystal did not show up for Harmony (There were many missed visits/court hearings) she was never even the one to contact law enforcement to report her daughter missing. She deserves to feel every bit of guilt.

He shouldn't have ever gotten custody, but neither should that "mother". She is not the shining beacon of motherhood she pretends to be. She's still lying to this day about how and why she didn't show up to the final hearing for Harmony, to make herself look better. She is not the victim. She was an unfit mother who lost her children and did not do the few things she needed to do in order to get them back and keep her daughter out of reach of the filthy POS she chose to get pregnant by. All of the sympathy here goes to Harmony, her brother, and Adam's uncle. No one else cared nearly enough. Everyone else, including her "mother" failed that baby from the day she was born to the day she died. Period.

If a five year old has never lived with a parent how can they decide if that is their preference ? That’s BS! They failed that poor little girl and are now trying to minimize it. And even though in two states, a mother should not be require to have two separate trials in two separate states on the same day. That’s ridiculous no matter who the parent. The attorneys failed the child as well. This all is beyond effed up. It’s still gonna happen bc we can’t get together as a society and prevent these people from slipping through the cracks.

I agree! But I blame the people involved in her case. There are other kids who haven't died but are still suffering even now. Because these people are either burnt out or psychopaths.

She was so precious 😢 I would've loved to have taken care of her. I would've loved her so much . I didn't know Harmony , but I love her just seeing her precious pictures. Knowing all the abuse she suffered, it gives me comfort, knowing that she is with our lord and savior. ❤ No more hurt or pain. 😢❤

This is so sickening. He did nothing, fought a few years, and got full custody, career criminal, with absolutely no oversight. 🤯😱😳🤯😱😳🤯😱😳not enough emojis. Judge should be held accountable. The finder of facts didn’t want to see and this little girl lost her life. Shame shame shame
