For anyone struggling with the camera panning part, I've been using the "Mouse button drag scroll" option (in the "Game" section in settings) for a few years now and I like it a lot. With this you can pan your camera in pretty much any part of the screen by clicking the mouse wheel and dragging, so if the mouse going to the edges is a problem to you, this can be an alternative. It could be not that efficient tho, or even a bad habit, but I find it really comfortable when you get used to it and I haven't had a problem in fairly high elo (masters). Imo it can help people that play with low sensitivity or can't move their mouse too much (wrist injury, lack of room for mouse, etc).
@Terwilliger23 жыл бұрын
This is probably more efficient than hitting the end of the screen with the mouse. I wouldn’t be surprised to see pros start picking that up.
@rafelg943 жыл бұрын
I can't live with this. I think it's a habit from classic Command & Conquer games, or such, but it's a nice way to adjust the camera without moving the mouse so far. Maybe it's because i don't have a lot of mouse sensitivity.

But when I looked there are so few videos actually giving you good drills to use to get better. I would love to see more videos that include little things you can do in practice mode to improve yourself.

4:09 having more attack speed will help to a degree, btu can also confuse and mask the effect and idea to a new player. I recommend starting with the champion they choose, and learning an auto attack reset combo. Once they get the idea of squeezing the extra AA in without the full wait time (cancelling a frame/action) it "clicks" for a lot more people.

A lil trick about camera control: i started league 10 years ago, was a big fps and mmo player, so really used to have many inputs with left keyboard hand and so character/camera control with it. I translated it with a complete change in key assignation in league, and it could be usefull to new players without the classic league setup habits: Move camera with wasd, Q and E for summoners, 1-2-3-4 for abilities, ctrl +1-2-3-4 self cast, f1234 for up abilities, R for attack move command, T for Hold position, zxcv for team cam focus(thumb camera control for switch as jungler) space center and g/h for pings Makes u keep the left hand setup u used to if from fps/mmo, while having complete control of camera (i never have camera positioning troubles as big nida player its kinda critical) and so keeping cursor where it needs to for character control and aiming, just requieres a bit more left hand inputs and precision (dont flash while trying to move cam to right or use ultimate) Its very specific but you could maybe use this trick with the newest players Thank you for the content always good things to catch

Worth mentioning in comments even though I know you've covered it in other videos: It takes some getting used to, but enabling "left-click to attack move" works makes movement inputs in between auto attacks SO much simpler. It lets you be a little bit less accurate on the attack side so you can focus more on moving; until I started using that setting I would get so frustrated when I would overshoot my auto attack as an adc and start walking towards the enemy bruiser instead of kiting them, attack moving in general prevents this, but I find left click to attack move makes this very easy. The only thing that takes getting used to is shift-clicking things when you want to normal left click.

with normal things what you mean
@josiejams90183 жыл бұрын
@@Oriol_jesusdnazarekt whenever you have attack-move on left click every click you do is an attack move input, even if youre hovering over ui elements. So for example, if you left click the minimap it would input an attack move command wherever you clicked on the minimap instead of panning the camera. Another example, with attack move on left click if you hold tab and click something on the scoreboard an attack move command will just go "through" the scoreboard to wherever your mouse is. In order to left click "normally" and just simply select things with attack move on mouse you have to hold shift before clicking, which takes some getting used to at first

2 tips: Remap your A button to attack the closest target on where you click - it makes it much easier to kite as you can just move, attack, move, attack while moving the cursor in that direction. When practising, start without items - it's much easier to see when you're attacking too early, and just stand there waiting to attack again. *Then* add attack speed items to get a better flow. With ~40% bonus attack speed, you can almost attack while moving, as the attack is so fast.

Meanwhile I move camera with one of the mouse thumb clicks and drag :) Mouse never needs to be far away from me, and I’d say it’s a more efficient camera movement than going to the corner of the screen, which can also do diagonal movements. I’ve heard people say it moves your mouse which can mess with your aim, but I’ve never had that issue. Light taps on the side of the mouse with so many other clicks and a decent enough amount of weight on my mouse, works out well for me.

You're right. I couldn't keep track of Chovy's mouse, and I'm not even mad at myself for not being able to. What the hell is that dude's precision ?

Very useful tips to practice! It would be nice if you also recommend some tools/games to improve mouse precision that experienced gamers use. Yes, maybe they are just a search away. But I'm sure it will help someone.

im starting to think that the little mini game that draven plays is a training method for teaching adc , while at the same time can be a really good method for training a support to leash. but not nearly as good as watching this video.

I personally prefer that control setup : Mouse button drag & scroll for camera control. In that case, u don't need to move the cursor away from the champion => faster and more precise control. And also use A (attack move) with enabled attack move on cursor => so u get fewer misclicks on an enemy, cuz u don't need to click exactly on the enemy, just somewhere close to ur target. If u see any weak sides in that setup let me know pls!
