Welldone prisca I don't know if you've settled with a particular location But as a growing youtuber you need to consider cost atleast for a start KZbin can be crazy same time financially demanding As per choice of location Considering cost mainland is your best shot You can always navigate from there more over Lagos content is not location based tomorrow you can in ikeja next in Iv, Next Agege and the list goes on Get a safe and affordable location in mainland atleast for a start and grow from there An opinion though ❤

As a Lagosian, I'll tell you Ikeja is very nice place to stay in Lagos mainland, and also it's the capital of Lagos state. But houses at Ikeja too are expensive 😊

And you can get a mini flat or a self contain with your budget I guess. And lastly I won't even consider residing in the mainland for free due to the flooding and the traffic. Oriade if you see a good shared apartments it's good if yiu get a goo neighbor, it's just that nigeria has not really matured for that ,but i can tell you this is what is common in new york,many apartments are shared houses and everyone goes about peacefully

Well, I will help you in answering that question in a lucid manner. Lagos is the economic and commercial and entertainment centre of the country, simply means there is more potential personal economic growth in Lagos. Also, Lagos night life is one of the best in the world for a young person to have fun. You also tend to meet great calibre of people in different spheres of life. Abuja mostly on the other hand is majorly an administrative city with little economic activities like Lagos. So for personal and economic growth, Lagos got you covered.

Abuja runs you out of content after a short while, but with Lagos there's a lot more to see and do. Don't also forget that she can always come into Abuja anytime

Lagos Island is really Isale Eko (where the indigenes live/ have the Palace), Martins Street/ Balogun Market axis, CMS/ Broad St./Marina Area(the old CBD), Popo Aguda/TBS/ Lafiaji and Obalende. Ikoyi and Victoria Island were reserved for hotels, offices/residential areas of Embassies/top civil servants and captains of industries, up until 1991 when the Federal capital moved to Abuja. Ikoyi and V.I are now gradually becoming the new CBD, the residential estate of the high and mighty and entertainment hub of Lagos. Where then is the over-hyped ISLAND?. It is the Lekki PENINSULA, new settlement of Lagos, traffic and flood prone with comparative lack lot of municipal amenities, affordable and accessible by an average Nigerian. It is LARGELY those who want to live a fantasy, mostly fake lifestyles. The truth is for a better, affordable lifestyle, opportunities abound on the mainland at Ikeja GRA,Ogudu GRA, Ikeja around Alausa, Magodo, Oregun, Omole Estates (Phases 1 and 2). Other areas are Ilupeju/ Gbagada, Yaba, Surulere (iponri/Bode Thomas/Alaka axis) and Yaba (the train station end)

Renting apartments in Lagos nah abradacaba. Lol. You'll hardly see apartments that's complete. You'll always see one comma or problem with the one your house agent shows you. Except you have enough money to get a perfect apartment that will match your taste. Lmao. Can you imagine the shapeless apartment she's being taken to.
