Even the average Chinese/European woman is taller than an average Pakistani guy and Vietnamese girls fall for white guys too. I really don't get the animosity anyway. I mean I am white and I really don't feel insecure if a European man/woman marries an Asian woman/man? As long as two people love each other that should be the only thing that matters.

One point to consider here. It is true that big companies have government representatives in them. This may be termed as "government over reach" to western countries but there's a perfectly good reason to this. The government representatives regulates the amount of money which goes into profit sharing of owners and wages of its employees. China will not allow the rich to get so much richer leaving the poor sector of society to suffer. This is evident in the raising of salaries of entire working class. The result is, You have now the elevation of the poor to middle class. Then, part of government corporate earning goes into society, building infrastructures that benefit the people. 1. What government, in this world, has built railways to the remotest part of the country where only a handful of passengers will benefit? 2. What has been going on in China is just the grand plan of uplifting its people from poverty with cheap mass transport, affordable health care and free education. As Tim Cook said, "Labor in China is no longer cheap when compared to other countries in Asia"

I talk with them all the time, and anytime we talk about apps or websites or companies from China, they always talk about how many backdoors, and malware they fill their apps up with. And they have to be to be under government compliance, no matter how small the company. Western apps aren't intrinsically built that way, they usually end up having it shoehorned in later on. Meaning by far they're mostly safer, and they're also allowed to refuse, which has happened, companies have refused to give data to the fbi or cia before. Whereas in China, youre not allowed to refuse sharing your data and information, even if you're not from the country. You wanna pretend to be a wise guy go ahead. But its a 100 percent certainty youre getting much more malicious Spyware on your phone from a Chinese app. Not the same in the west. Might as well get it on with someone you know has HIV. @DiamondFlame45 lol alright buddy. Don't know what you're talking about. All apps, internet browsers, technology firmware, etc, is required by the chinese government to have backdoor access upon their inception. Doesnt matter whether it's foreign or domestic. You don't have rights to them. So you're 100 percent garunteed to have Spyware, malware, etc, uploaded on your phone, and all that will be immediatley available and accessible to them at anytime. In the west at the very least, you have rights with your data, and companies do deny access to the fbi and cia, granted not all the time. You can tell companies and places to delete your data. Cant do that with china or any Chinese related technology. Have fun with that in the future kiddo.

It’s fun 😂😂😂 because ppl are acting as if the big spheres of power didn’t probably planned this, and their plan is going as expected 😂😂

You give them way too much credit. Those old people have no idea what they're doing. They're still crying because no one reads newspapers🎉 anymore. Way out of their depth.

Americans learning a new language to get to rednote that's unheard of considering most Americans only speak one language.

As long as people find joy and can learn something in these apps, then why not?! Really sick of the political conflicts in recent years.

I generally avoid this channel. Checked it out today, and as always, I find that this content creator does not have the right facts about the issues he talks about. For example, red note is not primarily used by Gen Z. It is broader than that.

More likely it will get banned again

red tape? Rule 1: no cleavage skin or butt cheeks. 2: One-China policy (no politics at all really)

Americans will use a new Chinese app than use an American app Instagram
@thechip272710 сағат бұрын
Rednote is tiktok china, just a diff name.
@nillyk56719 сағат бұрын
Wrong, Tiktok China is Douyin, Red Note (Red Book - Xiaohongshu) is more like what Instagram used to be.
@davezgy17 сағат бұрын
That is incorrect. Both TikTok and Douyin are subsidiaries of Bytedance. Red note (Xiaohongshu小红书) is completely separate and it’s more like Instagram+Pinterest.

XHS is like one of the few female centric, wholesome platforms out there for Chinese speakers. These “refugees” giving real colonizer vibes

Yeah, I hope the influx of Americans doesn't completely change the gender ratio. I'd rather the place have more American women since there aren't that many spaces where they can get away from the toxic masculinity flooding social media everywhere. I've noticed that wherever there is an absence of older American men (of any race), discourse becomes so much more civil and less toxic. However, nothing lasts forever. When hearing that there a site is more female centric, very common for middle aged and millennial incel American men (especially those that were for the Tik Tok ban) to start filling in eventually turning the place more toxic. Hope the moderators keep an eye on that.
