Northeast peoples of Mongoloid descents, who embraced Hinduism are on a far greater danger of being assimilated by mainland Hindu Indo-Aryan culture. Assamese, Tripuri, Meitei (plain people of Manipur), Cachari are all Mongoloid descents who embraced Hinduism. Yet they are already being assimilated by mainlainders because embracing their religion created a sense of belongings with them which in turns rendered them easy prey for assimilation. While Meghalayan, Naga, Mizo and hill tribes of Manipur, who embraced Christianity are still preserving their identity and are master in their own land. Christianity is like a wedge that protects indigenous NE people from Hindu mainland cultures. Compare the two communities who embraced Hinduism or Christianity, see for yourself who are much more assimilated. The truth is obvious.

Andrew explains it quite well as to how Christian Mission acts as a mafia or crime syndicate to take control of a community or society and gradually strangulate its culture or cultural diversity. The Christian Mission also justifies its existence by instilling among people the false 'knowledge' that Christianity was necessitated by the mutual quarrels between various communities -- that it was Christianity which unified the mutually incompatible communities/cultures. False knowledge (pretentiously described as 'sociology/anthropology') has always been the basis of church planting and ethnocide in a targeted community. Every mafia or crime syndicate in the world works by manipulating to become the main source of 'protection' for the community that it targets, and then holding the entire community hostage by asking for 'protection money' in return for security and social recognition. That's precisely what Christian church does in Mizoram, as has been explained by Andrew. "You cannot have any influence or authority among people unless you are a member of the Church; even if you are an IAS officer, people won't listen to you unless you derive your authority from the authority that the Church has," he says. Christianity is the most evil 'ethnocidal' (i.e. 'culture killing') force in the world; it rejects 'cultural syncretism' and works to destroy it, thereby undermining cultural autonomy, cultural freedom, cultural diversity, and cultural creativity. Christianity thus replaces cultural autonomy and diversity with heteronomy and homogeneity brought about by clerical bureaucracy. That is precisely what has happened to Mizoram since the time it was colonized by the Christian Mission.
@humanculturesareautonomous30204 жыл бұрын
That's a popular myth spread by the Christian missionaries. There is no truth in it. It's an old trick of the Christian church -- to spread canards about indigenous cultures that justify church planting and destruction of local cultural diversity.

The love of christianity ethnically cleansed the Bru-Reang tribe of Mizoram in 1997-98 from their ancestral lands. 5000 families (around 30000 persons) had to flee for their lives to Tripura. Their only fault was that they worshipped Vishnu in their animist ways. Their houses were attacked and ransacked, burnt down, looted, cattle were killed, elders harassed women abused and all other things that one can imagine in these circumstances. The lists containing the names of the Bru people were suspiciously burnt down in a fire and subsequent reenumeration omitted their names. The Indian govt just last month signed an agreement with Governments of Tripura and Mizoram and Bru-Reang representatives in New Delhi. This will settle the tribals(about 34000 now) in Tripura and a lot of other help in cash and kind will be provided.

Good information 👍 I hope by Meiteilon you are specifically implying the language of some specific tribes or community in Assam. Because the Assamese language doesn't falls under Tibeto-Burman language , its an Indo-Aryan language

@@Rosh08 Chakma language is a Indo-aryan language which is similar to sylheti Bengali dialect. Just because they are genetically similar to tibeto-burman you cannot make chakma language a branch of tibeto-burman language. In that case you can ask what about Bishnupriya manipuri ? What about Tai ahom ?
