Main land India is not only rascist but very casteist . And now anti minority and happy to lynch Muslims burn churches and whip dalits like in UNA. The British did not read us wrongly. We are full of prejudices that is why when Indian upper caste go abroad and suffer from racism I sometimes don't feel bad. They need a taste of their own medicine. The same people treat drivers and maids like dirt in India. Insulting the Naga people is only the tip of the iceberg. This is why Modi's majoritarian and fascist politics has become a license for upper castes to inflict violence. And not even going to mention the regular raping of women. Even women wrestlers are not safe. Shame Shame

Definitely they need to be made to feel included and I sincerely hope mind sets of people change .They are wonderfully talented people. Saurabh, while you usually do wonderful work, in this one ( north east) it’s visible that you are making a lot of effort to bring their stories out. Kudos to you! Bro northeast is hub of illigal immigrants and drug cultivation separatist groups n more..u r very ignorant abt this ..there is ongoing clash Between illigal immigrants from Myanmar in manipur n meitei..there is huge ..there is Nagaland working with separatist groups demanding seperate country nagalim,there is huge instability n china and usa hav good influence here ..u will see Chinese guns and weapons through groups and through church fund is provided to these groups...I'm literally not generalising it but it's the top reason govt of india is not able to hav full control of any clashes here ...the money from international organisations is unlimited the supply of weapons keeps growing n cultivation of drugs and supply in exchange of weapons through Myanmar..now as Bangladesh is under USA influence boz they want a military base near india and china n they did it ...usa is too powerful india is still developing n our economy is less ..india is under pressure...china hav control over Myanmar that's y usa made Bangladesh unstable to get control..

Today I helped a North East Indian family to reach to Lotus temple from INA 🙂. Love you guys from a Bihari friend. Although I look similar but we do face discrimination of being bihari but any way more people are good.
@MaryK02 Жыл бұрын
@Nature Lover i think it's also because people atleast acknowledge and have the knowledge of bihari history, culture and that it's integral part of India. The northeast people take the comments calling them "chini, japani, Nepali " sensitively because Some people don't even know northeast states are also part of Indian history and they aren't well known and when they meet them they without asking assume it's not an Indian person and also make racist comments. So they are sad because they are having Identity crisis. Biharis have been a victim of negative stereotyping from media, movies, culture of gundagardi, corruption in Bihar. Real Village people of Bihar are most hardworking and humble people

Let us all take a pledge that we will never hurt their sentiments and shall protect their rights. They are beautiful people who are connected to the roots and culture. Their representation in Indian army is more than many other states have but still they get to hear horrible things. But this generation is different , we won't let you guys down . Love from Jaipur ❤

I'm pahadi... and my state shares border with Nepal... I never felt that Nepal is different nation from us.. But I actually want to say , whenever I see any North Eastern or Nepali... it really feels like home ..I feel like... I'm safe here (though i dont look like them as my ancestors migrated from Rajasthan during the time of Auranzeb) because I have grown up around my Nepali neighbors and also my father's friend is from Sikkim ... then later he went to Ladhak.. I just want to say... Indians should learn to respect the culture of this diverse country... We people of hilly regions live in peace with each other... and everyone should respect every other person...

Shame Shame

The journalist did a wonderfully job on his part in creating a comfort atmosphere for the students. The children seemed really quite and shy taking their own time to open up. Having completed my schooling from Nagaland, I want more people to come and explore the mesmerizing part of north east India. More people are welcome to this greenery and naturally rich state and give message to other part of the country that all the negavites spread about it are not true.
