How Coal Generates Electricity | How Thermal Power Plant Works | Gaurav Kaushal

India has a big dependence on coal as far as energy sector is concerned. Among all the energy sectors, electricity sector is the most dependent sector as coal-fired thermal power plants contribute the biggest proportion to the total electricity generation in India.
This analysis will concentrate on basic concepts related to electricity generation through coal-fired thermal power plant. Important components of thermal power plant viz. boiler, turbine, generator, electricity transmission, cooling tower have been discussed in this session.

Sir, the hot water which is coming from turbine if we move it to the boiler without cooling it then coal consumption will be reduced and more electricity should be generated from less amount of coal. I mean the waste of heat should not be done. Please tell about this in next video.jai hind.

सर, मैं पिछले एक साल से घर पर सेल्फ स्टडी से यूपीएससी की तैयारी कर रहा हूं; 10 - 11 घंटे पढ़ने के अलावा मैं जिम भी जाता हूं लेकिन इतना बिजी रहने की वजह से ज्यादा किसी दोस्त से मिल जुल नहीं पाता ,पूरा दिन बिना किसी से बात किए ही गुजर जाता है शुरू में तो सब कुछ ठीक लगता था लेकिन अब डेली उसी रूटीन से बोरियत,मंहूसियत टाइप फीलिंग आने लगी है,घर वालों से भी कितनी ही देर बात करो जब तक बराबर उम्र के लोगों से बात नहीं होती तब तक कुछ सही नहीं लगता ऐसी मनोदशा में मैं क्या करू?
