If they could buy acetone or isopropyl alcohol they would not bother with gasoline, the end product is made more toxic by the fact that the people making it do not have the adequate materials to work with

The initial process is a solvent extraction at high pH. Portland cement or slaked lime assure high pH. The second step is acid precipitation. Sulfuric acid is used as it also precipitates any calcium from the lime or cement. Crude paste is further refined by a second acid-base extraction yielding the chloride salt which is what is snorted.

It can be made with water but they speed up the process with petrol , desiel or acid because it's illegal and they need to make quick if it was legalised it could be made clean by proper chemists and all the money spent on it can go to rehabilitation for users plus taxes for roads etc

It's Australian dollars so nearly half in USA dollars. On top of that Australians never sell pure it's always cut half and half a half again as it goes down the chain because they are so greedy. So a kilo will be cut up to a million.
