Really eye-opening stuff! Is there a part 3? Also would like to make a request for a video on how the east India company actually took control over the subcontinent from a political economy and micro lens. What was the first thing they did as they came in and thereafter? What were the key strengths, and why were the locals so willing to let them exploit them and their people?

@@Taimur_Laal I would love to listen to the third part, Professor. Like what are the effects of colonialism that still plagues the subcontinent. Also, I think wherever they went, they created long lasting problems for example the border dispute between India and Pakistan, The Kashmir issue, The Baloch issue, troubles in the middle east... Am I correct to think that way? Can we consider these as effects of british colonialism?

Why common Indian people never discusse such atrocities done by British but they discuss every minute details of Mughal and Sultanate era's atrocities. Indian political system still haunts by such discussion time to time. Still they are playing the symbolism of fear politics by discussion of pre British era. Please make a video on this issue.

Are we witnessing the initial phases of neocolonisation and neoimperialism in Pakistan. Pls put it in perspective by relating it to what China is doing in Africa, South China sea etc. Do u think this topic is worth ur time?

@Taimur_Laal4 жыл бұрын
They expanded their hold over a long time through the East India Company. As they grew richer, they acquired more armed power. Their power lay in the development of the capitalist mode of production.

Sir kya Pakistan Chinese Colonialism ke under jaa raha hai with CPEC as China is acquiring important infrastructure. *1st)* Aisse Udhar do jo chuka hii na paye, Interest rate is quite high. *2nd)* After acquiring asset, Chinese army to protect those assets( already Chinese army present in KPK. In Iran-China $400 bn deal Chinese army jaegi Iran, so assuming Pak mei bhi aaegnge badi number mei) *3rd)* Influencing Pakistan's decision. Pakistan unn countries mei se hai jo Letters likh rahe hai UN Ko defending China on Uygur Muslims atrocities. So Pakistan China ke Muslims pe attayachar Ko support Kar Raha hai. Ye Pakistan khud se Kar Raha hai ye China ke kehne pe? Same CPEC as East India Company (EIC) 1st Trade 2nd Army introduction 3rd Administration mei dakhal karna for the advantage of Host country Is Pakistan putting all his eggs in one basket? Or Pakistan doesn't have that choice with just $10 bn dollars in forex Reserve
