Hi Julien, of you check out the earlier Coltrane with Miles relaxin, steaming, cooking albums, he is almost totally diatonic on the chords. A really fast but super good solo is on Oleo. It is not about the speed, but how he plays the lines. Take it to a tempo you can manage and play the lines 500x. This really works and will change your playing forever.
