Write in a journal ! I make sense of everything by writing. I call my 99 cent journal from the dollar store my "paper psychiatrist". It gets negativity out of your head and you do not become this annoying person everyone wants to avoid.

@@ogbobby89 it’s called cognitive behavioral therapy. You have to change the way you think to change the way you feel and what you allow to bother you.

I realised today that I get a kind of "release" from complaining. Like I decide I'm never going to complain again, but the tension builds up and I vent. 😂 Yes, you're absolutely correct when you say it's an addiction! Oh I really want to stop doing this ... ⛔️

This is the kind of information which people should learn from childhood. Mental states are indeed contagious. Quarantine yourself from complainers !

I stopped complaining to other people, and i try to steer clear from people who complain too much. but i still complain about so many things in my head, i can feel thatit's not good for me and energy draining, almost like an addiction. I think most people would be surprised if they could see how many hours they actually complained in a weeks time. Like how you can see how many hours you spent on KZbin last 7 days 😅

Complaining causes brain damage-stop. Contributes to total body inflammation-stop. There is a massive neurological impact that results from complaining. Its like an avalanche and has constant negative impacts for us---there is a difference between getting something off your chest once or twice and going on and on about it. Also, stating your feelings/emotions around a situation , even if the feelings are "negative" is different from complaining. Typically complaining involves talking about things outside of our control, whereas talking about your feelings involves your own direct experience about a situation.
