One major element is missing in these explainations : the number and types of effects he is using in his setup. It's not just the "Apprehension box" that produces these sounds on its own but the box connected to different sorts of reverbs, delays, and loopers (and probably more) that you can see on his right side and at his feet. Type "noise box" in your KZbin search bar and you'll find zillions of box of that kind and how to do it yourself.

All the negative points you’ve highlighted about this camera have no bearing at all on the type of shoot you’re doing here, and any chimping you may think you need to do regarding exposure being correct etc, is ultimately down to you as a photographer not being confident or experienced enough to know what their exposure settings should be etc. chimping is not necessary if you know what you’re doing.
