Hi Derrick! Our actual tech is a fertile soil for big changes and ethical concerns...What do you think are the 3 main aspects that we can took advantage off of this crisis as species, in an evolutive way? Is there a chance that Science's boost, could lead to enhance our ability to develope empathy and a healthy way of life in the long run?

There is "internet", and it works via "tele-communications" which means "the transmission of information over great distances", and there is a "network" which is "a group of interconnected people". Someday, one shall connect the dots.

In the Philippines , students is calling out Academic Freeze for this year because not all are ready , not all students have gadgets and not whole country has strong internet connection and yet Education Department still insist to opening of classes with Online and Modular method. The result many students has been stop this year because they have no financial for buying gadgets and has not all have access in internet connection.

Where I live in the USA every student has a chrome book and high speed internet access. We are fortunate to have had forward looking individuals in office, but now our officials have changed and don’t believe COVID19 is real and see very need for masks and social distancing.

Also a US resident here, millions of students are struggling with slow connection, not many outside of greater metropolitan areas have access to more than satelite or DSL internet. My college, University of Washington, had to realize spring quarter that attendance in online lecture is spotty at best due to technical errors and testing has had to be less relied on because some students get kicked out in the middle of tests or cant access them. We are very tech friendly but its still a mess online for the most part in American education.

Being a teacher here in Colombia is absolutely heartbreaking, the government investment in rural areas is virtually imperceptible and in the city many people are illiterate regarding the use of technologies. Still, everyone is giving their 100%.

They have opened schools where I live in Ottawa, Canada. `Quite a few of the schools have the children, teachers, and staff who have tested positive for COVID-19 and they have to stay at home in quarantine.

Young ones planning to enter the teaching and hospital work profession needs to be mentally and physically prepared for the challenges the society faces during distressing times where more than 100 % performance is gonna be expected of them. Those who can't handle that better consider a more "safer" job not having to deal with other humans in need. They better have lots of heart to know of their moral responsibilities.

I studie social work, at my internship we've allready got our work cut out for us. We've spent the last half year doing everything by phone, wich doesn't really work for the people we assist. Now we try and visit any where we can to keep the face to face contact. It's for me atleast not my moral duty what drives me, I just fill a very human need, I think I can provide. I can foresee my work field is going to be more important in the near future.

This hasn't changed yet. It's only gotten worse at my job. It's like they tolerate no call, no shows just to torture the people who have been there for a long time and never call in because they hate us for some reason

Matthew 24:37-39 New King James Version 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Repent ,for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.

At least we have now improved in digital devices usage and this change was much needed in the field of education. Now one can look for more self reliant alternatives like homeschooling and online schooling.
