After being told about John Wick's car and dog.... Viggo: "Oh." Translation: "Perfectly understandable. I might do the same thing myself. Sorry for bothering you. Have a good night."

My personal theory is he didn't shoot him in the club because a part of him enjoyed the hunt and instilling fear into him but after the chat with Vigo, he realized that he was in danger of his old self taking control once more, hence the no-nonsense end.

Interesting theory. Wonder why he didn’t hesitate with the last couple dozen people then. 😂 I don’t think he enjoyed making him afraid, I just think it felt more like justice to him. But that’s my 2 cents.

8:05 it is difficult to tell but in this scene, Viggo pours his son cheap alcohol because he know that he is going to punch him in the stomach and he might cough it back up. After the punch, Viggo goes back to the bar, grabs a different bottle ( the expensive liquor) and pours himself a drink.

There is a lot of mythology that goes into the world the writers created.. The Bellman's name is Charon. The ferryman who shuttled souls between the realm of the living and the dead.. You'll also notice that he is ALWAYS at his post no matter what time of day or night..

I love it when Josef says ‘Oh’ after hearing from his father Viggo who John Wick is. I’m like “Yeah you Fucked with the wrong guy. Daddy can’t help you now. Meet John Wick, baddest M.O.F.O. you will ever meet.

Just a few things: 1.) The movie was made by current and former stuntmen. It’s basically the product of a bunch of guys playing. 2.) The pit bull that John saves was really saved. The papers on its cage said that it was going to be put down in the morning. When this movie was wrapped, Keanu actually adopted him!

That is Willem Defoe - not William. A lot of people, including reactors, make that mistake. The actor playing the concierge at the Continental was on the promotional tour for JW 4 when he died suddenly just before the London premiere... the whole cast was shocked.

While they do resemble each other, Kirill (the guy who beats John on the balcony and later rams him with the car) is not Iosef's brother. He's Viggo's top security guy.

The choreography in this film is insane! And not just the actors but the cameras as well!! Also, love your love for dogs! Every time I see a dog on the street or even on TV I can't help but say "dog!" 😆 They're just so cute! 🐶 Happy to see you like them as much 😁 Great video as always!! Cheers!

Haha thanks, I love doggos!! What I love about fight choreography but in this film in particular, is that they have to consider the camera angles and shots when making the choreography to make it look easy to follow. The Bourne series is great but often they didn’t mix those two things well and you’d get confusing and hard to follow fights. John Wick makes you feel every blow and shot. 😍

As another commenter posted the writer and the producers of the movie Nobody and the John Wick films are the same. The have gone on record to say they both occur in the same universe. They also admitted they would like to have a crossover scene. Something like John Wick and Mr. Mansell (“Nobody”) nod to each other in passing. However, they say they just haven’t felt they had the right way to do it, yet. It is possible, contrary to what some believe, due to the films being made by the same production company and only distributed by separate major studios. Also, the actor who “killed” the puppy, was so upset by the scene that he had to spent the entire next day with the puppy to clear his conscious after shooting the scene.

Your reactions are always so fun to watch ❤ Another film you might find interesting is "Nobody". The film was written by and produced by some of those who had worked the John Wick series. The "Nobody" story line has many parallels and homages to the John Wick movies but with a bit of a dark comedic twist. imo its has some best and most innovative fight scene choreography. Think you would enjoy! ❤

Great reaction, but you seemed to be a little confused about Kirill. He isn’t Iosef’s brother. Iosef is Viggo’s only heir. If he had a competent older son like Kirill (or even perhaps any other son), I don’t think Viggo would be quite as concerned (if at all) about trying to protect a worthless screw-up like Iosef. As for breaking the Continental rules, I don’t think that would really be worth any amount of money. Can’t spend it from the grave, right? Even if someone could hide from John, thinking they could escape the Continental’s “heavy penalties” seems at best foolhardy.

I didn't know about John Wick 1 at first, until I heard my friends talking about him, so I got JW1 and loved it, he is like the Terminator, Viggo was right u don't F with John Wick and u certainly don't steal his Car and Kill his dog, Viggo's reaction to why that guy hit his son was so Funny just OH, and that explains everything, the JW franchise is awesome every move is great.
