My mom fell and broke her arm and hip back in October of 2020. She was admitted to the hospital where she was exposed to the virus. She was infected with the virus. I saw this like 6 months ago. I just watched it again today and realized he recorded it on the DAY my Dad died from this. 69 yr old healthy retired Rx. Broke it down, exactly the course of events that he went through. If you still have loved ones &/or family living, call them or send them a quick text and say I love you. Not being able to do that hurts a lot, believe me. After 6 months of missing him, my mother passed away from a stroke. Don’t take anything for granted these days.😔

I had covid in July 2020. I got double lobe pnuemonia. I didn't have to be hospitalized but I did go to the ER. I was coughing up bloody mucous. It was the worst I've ever felt in my whole entire life. I had a full recovery and I'm so happy I'm better.

I'm a 68-year-old cancer survivor with a form of MS, so I take this seriously. Best surgeon I have ever seen. He did surgery on me before he started doing weight loss surgery in Texas City. He repaired two hernias and removed a lipoma that every other surgeon said didn't need to be removed. It bothered me so he removed it. Thank goodness he did, it had feelers and was growing inward and had already separated the muscle. His surgery sutures are on par with any plastic surgeon. Can't see any scaring. He is also a talented painter. Maybe after all this, he'll show some of them.

What a wonderful explanation thank you sooooo much! I do have my own input to the extention of how long can one endure this depending on their immune system. I had most all prior flu's as stated, nobody listened to me, most doctors as well, they don't want to hear the details of crucial facts to how my lengthy explanation was recurring year after year. Hopefully they will listen to you, wished I could send this right now to mine. What I could way back when say took, 6 months of the same serious affects of pnuemonia, I was even then told then, you won't get it again, even with the shot! But obviously I could not rely and cared for myself better or I wouldn't be here now! If I use these two words, Hiplar contour.....it continues to a long explitive, I'm sure you know what I mean. This cell structure I'm told creates phlegm itself in short, but on top of pneumonia, is quite hard to manage. Glad you explained the distance of size to lung area of which I have been complaining of my left kidney area, now both sides this year to date, of excruciating pain, that takes me down like sharp needle daggers jabbing and that nerve will shoot up to my neck area of past damage also. Trying to be brief here is hard too. However, people even now have that dazed look as if trying to diagnose me, but it like once they hear the word pnuemonia they ignore it as " their" aware or familiar with the word, but ignore me, oh your always sick, they ignorant as well, I say. Hence from family also. Going forward nobody is really stressing how bad the muscle aches are, that continue on, over & above the R.A., severe Osteo, and Fibro. Oh I've been treated by the latest doc 13 yrs to date for Fibro, & yrs prior to him, he now doesn't believe in it. I could careless what he decided all if a sudden after having no choice but to stay as his patient of whom I use to support his opinions but we suffer for his own issues since his return & prior; I'm not alone here on this either. I can say that had I listened to him, again, I wouldn't be here now. Nor when I had severe endometriosis, also not know then along with Fibro, and other things I suffered 40+ yrs with till exposed. Again, once the name is known to them they are content to the knowing, but forget of what your going thru, as they go onto the next. In some ways I'm sad to say, this Covid 19 is a wake-up call to earth! Get with the program of Life! Last June 14-17, I hit my peak, I almost kicked then, very close. With pnuemonia, being alone, here I was being barely able to walk, gasping and with fever, told to go for x-rays where, the tech really had me telling as she shoved me across the table which actually was ripping the pnuemonia from the lining you speak of from the back wall of my lung. It's a wonder as any jolt was excruciating, to then be bummed around to take the bus after that to go get my ow perscription. You'd think they could have called it in for me, but nope. Plus even saying I had pnuemonia, if I could talk and walk I was fine, no sooner than words said, I was expected to deliver to bank, other offices all for a phone, when told I had it to cell co. They didn't care, even paid they had me running all over & cut my phone, so I couldn't call 911 if I could do that. I don't have anyone, neighbors or family to call on, being a shut in suffering in pain for so many years now, who was there. I can say this time Mar.13th exactly, I lost it on my peak day, being told no again, not realizing my blood pressure so high I almost was to kick I felt. 💓 pumping, nasal bleeding lightly on tissue after I hung up, throwing the phone I was so pissed. I knew people were treating me like this but not " hearing me" nor my symptoms, I thought this is it, I'm doomed. It took three days of this bout before fever broke, but the phlegm is still there, the caught of that, and it's mid April before I took a chance to go out, but the buses cut back, long line ups to grocers, and I'm in pain besides the cold, wind and rain, I don't dare go to a hospital with a fever, but asked to. He'll I couldn't stay awake, or walk as all affects were locking me up literally speaking I go stiff with seconds whereas one min I'm fine as they say. It's alot of my own pep talks to breathe if I can to brain tricking to endure as time goes on. I'm almost 24/7 in bed on a heat pad, can't get any help because they assume I'm getting all things paid for by govt disability, even my doctor makes remarks, nice right? His arrogance is bordering narcissistic traits, you can believe that for sure. He had just been reprimanded, yet continues as if it's all else, typical, but doesn't help me to waste my energy on his woes, does it? Lol.

I figured my last comment was long so ended it, but hopefully you get that, yes I'm alive now due to my own precautions. I disinfected again as soon as able, and felt my immune system is still not strong enough to do much of anything but walk thru my apt. But during fever to now I relied on Nin Jiom cough syrup, shot of real lemon, no sugar as sweet as it is I heat the water, wrap the mug or glass and then wrapped my throat area with Vicks or tiger balm whatever all around temples sinus areas, as the eye pain due to Graves, thyroid out of whack, I was barely hanging on. So now tho, I have a dim view of my length of time left, but another bout, which is yet to come, I truly don't know if I could manage alone as I am. When your that sick there is no way you can move, to even make the call. I know we'll enough to judge my threshold to strength, and how much I can take. Good thing I couldn't have kids due to Endo, was that a blessing? I sure suffered that pain with arthritis for yrs to build up immunity, but alot was mind over matter, or simply denial. I can say both actually. Faith in myself as that's all I had. I wonder how my aged doctor is feeling tho, hmmm I sure feel like writing him a personal letter with all due respect of course! I thank you so much as it must have been today for me to see. I'm not on here much and I sense people are just tired of listening to how media is trying to outdo each other's hype or action plans. I can tell when someone has been ill, or pnuemonia too, in their talk, I was glad to finally hear the nitty gritty being said of muscle aching and headaches with eye pain. The latter being said at my cataract operation blood pressure spike. Ignored to my symptoms at follow up too, 3 weeks to took me to come out if extreme eye pain after, what's that called because the microscopes too old & damage by laser nerve killing while your not strapped in as the laser jabbed you. An awful risk to take even so, and not to listen. The hospital then was recovering from MERS. HMMM...What do you think of how this played out to me, I seriously would like to know? Especially when I wasn't listened to if having pnuemonia, been so ill for so long even I didn't know what it's like to be well! What's that feel like, by the way! Lol. Again thanks for this video. Point to timing is now instead of 6 month dormant to a regular flu, I normally got too early for any shots that were let out anyway, that it's running into not clearing up now at all to basically three months apart from a major episode attack again, for me that is. Right, did I mention the depression, sorry I won't bore you, being upset at the unpreparedess, of it being 2020, as Trump thinks as if today in his statement of the WHO is he won't support it with funding to help his own voters he expects or his country, cuz he thinks that word belongs for him only! Makes me ill, just to think of him. That is just my opinion, not said to offend anyone, I'm like this disease I have no sides. Thanks for reading.

My mom died while intubated. She had been intubated several times prior and hated it. She pulled the tube out once so they always had to bind her hands to the bed frame. It killed me to know she had to suffer that way in her final weeks. We all thought she would pull through. She was doing better each day, doc was ready to take her off tube and then it all went south quickly. Her heart finally gave out. She had a DNR. She was finaly at peace. Sorry for your loss.
