In U.S. contracts are given to private companies, in India almighty government does that and literally destroys the road in the name of repair.....

I don't get why they wash it (with what I assume is water) beforehand. Wouldn't that just trap the water inside and cause the very issues that they're trying to prevent?

Just rip up the length of road, compact it more, then lay a new base coat and top surface. The cracks will reappear despite the sealing. Winters and summers will split the seal over a short period of time and you're back to square one. Best to fully resurface the length of road.

Fresh, warm cow flop has been determined to excel as an asphalt crack fill material. Its use is noted by a water washdown after the steaming hot flop roll-in phase. Other options include ordinary cold pour and the outrageously expensive hot asphalt repair protocols.

In germany they use liquid asphalt (without any sand / fillers). It works decent enough as far as I've seen them on the roads. But yeah, the way they do it on this video is pointless.

Don't use cracks with Asphalt. Purchase original version. True racers never use cracks
