I am just curious. Since you are located in Taiwan why have you not considered propagating the Taitungensis cycas commercially? I think it is much more attractive than revoluta.

nice though, you were right. but taitungensis is in the list of endangered species and seeds harvested prohibited.

25 inchs of trunk diameter with one feet height, looks like you own a beautiful shape of sago. The location of my nursery is along with the tropic of cancer, harvest diameter of 12 inchs and one feet high trunks will take 8 years up to grow, cell phone devalue every months, you made right decision !

Sorry friend, but Cycad won't grow on windowsill. You need a farm / hot spot to grow them. PLus, they don't like to grow in containers at all. Try growing Blue Spruce instead, also quite lovely . Good luck

My hairs turned white when my Cycas Revoluta flushed. As you are an expert can you tell the age of my Cycas Revoluta that I purchased 2 years ago with trunk thickness of 25 inchs and trunk height is 1 feet long. My Cycas Revoluta is more expensive than my mobile phone. Ha haa.
