Fun fact, the song was written and produced by Thomas Bangalter’s (one of the Daft Punk) father, who was a successful producer. He probably found the song going through his dad’s work or discography.

you should definitely look into the samples used for Face To Face off of the same album, it’s insane, and the community is still actively looking for all the samples used.

Eddie is not currently homeless, he lives I'm a supportive housing facility due to his age. He still hasn't seen a dime from Daft Punk. And yes, they know how to find him he publicly asked to be paid royalties.

No. Are paintings pointless and irrelevant because they were crafted by somebody who intimately knows paint better than non-painters? No. So why would any detail or piece of production in music be any different? Only an audio engineer would be able to understand what was done, but the final result still reaches the listener's ear, no matter who it is

I remember being eight years old, watching Cartoon Network. I was bored out of my mind because I think it was the weekend and I was staying indoors. You know that kind of boredom that is just crippling? So there I was, playing with My Little Ponies, when the One More Time Cartoon Network promo advert came on. Blew my mind. I remember staring avidly at the screen. Boredom was instantly cured. And that's how I became a Daft Punk fan to this day!! All thanks to this awesome track!! 😁

I love when songs use samples! There’s just something so cool about it, especially when it’s a really unexpected song. Like, Rap Snitch Knishes by MF DOOM uses a guitar riff from Dave Matthews’ Space Oddity and I think it’s really cool!

I love it, I wish it was more accessible for artists in the Spotify area. Feels like only big time artists have the resources to clear our favorite records. It’s a beautiful art-form, creating beautiful timbres. It’s not inherently lazy but it’s not exactly easy either. If anything, it’s fun

No Sampling is not copying. First of all they paid money so they can use the samples and after that they changed the samples of the song. In reality most if not all songs are samples or gave samples bc music is old as f, What you mean is copying or downright singing the same song.

Great video though, very cool. 🤘🏻 i never knew they took someone else’s song to get famous. Ill try this method by tracing the mona lisa and calling my own because i used slightly different colors. 😁

They did a metric fuckton of processing to the samples, mostly done in serial. Eq, compression, expsnsion, saturation, more eq, stereo imaging, MORE eq, more compression, etc

I did probably the most accurate remake anybody's done of the song, over on my main channel and I don't mean to brag, but I've pretty much nailed it.
