Ati "she believed dancing is sinful"? That's not accurate. Rather, she believed that dancing with someone else's husband was sinful. Hail Lenah for upholding purity and her high regard for marriage!

My regard for the man just increased. The discipline and dedication he had in holding a nation together in very precarious times without the support of a family is very inspiring. To the best of my knowledge, he did his absolute best and was truly dedicated to the nation. Had it not been for his leadership, Kenya would have fallen apart. Before we judge him too harshly, let us remember he did not have the same exposure that any of the other presidents had. Kenyatta and Kibaki both studied and lived in the United kingdom which seeded their vision for developing Kenya. Uhuru studied in the US and Ruto is president in the internet age when you can travel to any part of the world from your couch. Moi had none of that, just a missionary education, teachers training , discipline and God. All things considered, he did an excellent job as president.

Instead of Moi to be proud of Lena he choose to divorce her. Moi lacked wisdom in his decision to divorce her just because of a dance ,it was wrong, Moi was feared by his children and though Moi may have enjoyed reins of power, his family life was miserable. He would have chosen to remarry the kind who can dance with everyone. Hapo alikosa hekima.

Is not because of that he devorced is because he was in Brotherhood and sometimes you have special rules . Some they are not supposed to sleep in the house some you have to get rid of your wife, or eat your own fieces ..etc you can google if dont believe me

No man is perfect or totally imperfect, No marriage is a bed of roses or thorns, wether your a presidential couple/family or from civilian background , rich or poor, powerful or powerless we are all nothing but human prone to different and diversified challenges in the journey of life which judgement cannot be validated by one story or an event due to existing circumtances. Those of us now seasoned by time and experienced the ups and downs of life will understand better not fairly point a fingers.

Moi is to blame for separating wth his wife for such a minor issue. After all she believed it was him and him alone for such a dance. alternatively he should have couched her about exposure if anything. He shouldn't have tortured her that way psychologically and physically. Well, he is dead now but he will answer to his maker. However, one wld ask where were his spiritual advisers?

A man must always follow his purpose and stay loyal to his leader and no woman should come in between. Moi passed that exam from my point of view. Staying loyal to Kenyatta meant he got rewarded as Kenya's president for 24 years, not even a woman could stand in his way amidst his journey to fulfill his purpose. That's my take.
