The song is from 1996 as part of a kid's Halloween album, got picked up by Disney in 1998 who paired it with their dancing skeletons cartoon from the 1920s and made for VHS, became a meme in the 2010s, then got turned into a dance remix in 2013. (Ten year anniversary of The Living Tombstone's version!) So it's seen a huge evolution over the decades. Marwan pulled from all of those roots to create his own unique thing. THAT IS TALENT, having the forethought to show three different sides of the song, from humble origins to Disney skeletons to Halloween party rave song.

The original "Spooky Scary Skeletons" was very much the slow little song you first hear in the video as it was basically part of a "Halloween for Kids" soundtrack a long time ago...and the TheLivingTombstone got a hand of it and made it the faster-paced rave version you're probably more familiar with.

Wow Marwan, just WOW. There are no other words! This is absolutely freaking incredible. I'm not going to say what I was doing at 16 but I will say it was definitely not something I could be proud of! LOL DJ, this reaction was EVERYTHING. I loved the use of the fan, it makes me smile every time anyway but it definitely felt necessary this time!

It's possible his voice was lower than most kids when he was younger so that could be why he can already do a crazy bass like that at 16 😂. Or maybe he was practicing his bass at 5 years old 🤣
