Sometimes your best just isnt good enough, I used to be hella fustrated at having visible abs, clear skin, designer clothes, making 6k a month and still not getting the results I wanted 😢. This Just reminded me how hype the end of season 3 jojo was lol.

It sometimes really makes me think about relationships in general. I've never been in one i should say, but it genuently feels like just a cycle every man goes through in their lives. I mean an average person experiences 3 heartbreaks in their lives, and 40-50% of marriages end in divorce, so it really makes me think, should i even try? I mean with todays beauty standards and people only focusing on gaining something from a relationship, for example money being really common, i really think its futile to start dating since its likely going to take an unnecessary amount of my time just going on dates and hanging out with someone that i tell myself "is the one", only for them to leave me and boom, you just wasted a massive amount of time you could have spent on literally anything else. I also really dont know how i would handle being dumped, would i just say "never again"? I honestly dont know. Just living my life knowing that my entire mental health cant just shatter like glass because of heartbreak really feels better than actually trying to find a girlfriend you know? Just a quick thanks for giving me a place to say this

your concerns are totally valid but I think it's important to note that even the things that don't last can be great, obviously breaking up with someone is bad but like, it's just natural if you've been married for a long time.
