How Deep Is Your Love - Carlton - Yamaha Tyros 3

This is my first attempt at playing along with a MIDI file. I switched off channels 3, 4, 5 & 9, so that I could play the piece myself, leaving the rhythm and string accompaniment. It really did feel as though I was playing with a live orchestra! Let me know what you think.

I played all my songs without MİDİ files but it gived me İdea. Playing a song with MİDİ file is better. Gives better sound, and realistic background.

Hi. The keyboard doesn't have any pre-set midis. The ones that I had were loaded into the keyboard by the shop that sold it to me. Carlton

Craig Melvin here. I have a Tyros 3 and play by sheet music only. I have watched many of your videos and have learned more of the instruments capability. Perhaps in future videos you could share some of your settings. I also have a Hammond B3 with a leslie. I just hooked up a Yamaha 10 switch foot with expression. It is starting to sound just like the B3. Craig

Nice work! I have the Tyros 4. How and where do you select your midi files. I purchased a couple of files from Yam musicsoft. One had Score, lyrics and a very nice arrangement. One was not all that. You never know what your getting until it is bought and paid for. Where did this midi come from? Your comments would be greatly appreciated. Regards! 1ManBand

Thanks for the reply. I got the Midi, and Rock with you, found Midis from a web site free, sounds like your Midis, only thing is of what to do with the left hand sound, limited using Midi, plus my timing of playing along with a Midi has to be right on.

I would like to confirm that in the case of this song, as well as other, all you do is turn off some of the midi channels, and record buttons in the registration settings of the voices? And the voices you exchange with the pedal and in other cases pressing the record button? You do not use the auto accompaniment in any of these songs? I appreciate if you can answer me.

By the way compliments to the cameraman, very slow and smooth movements is what is lacking in many amateur videos, I get "sea" sick is some cases.
