TBF The surface of the moon is smaller than that of the oceans, I could Google, but I think I remember the Pacific Ocean being bigger. I googled it and the Pacific has about 4 times the surface area. The moon's surface area is about 14.6 million square miles (38 million square km) and the Pacific 155 million square kilometers (60 million square miles),

Having other friends who had been to Guam and having a snake phobia would have been nightmare fuel to me. The chain link fence that surrounded land a half mile away from the base had dozens of snakes clinging to the fence late at night and early morning they said. I kept thinking for some reason being on the other side attempting to climb over for whatever reason hypothetically and seeing those venomous ropes to the left and right of you. Send me to the Arctic. 🤣

To OP. The *whole pitch* of this channel. Appealing to those with ignorance and fear in their driving seat. The same kind of primitive mentality which made people fear sailing out far to see thinking there would be an edge there or why people didn't like anything which deviated from their myopic "norm". While you are at it you can look up this *fallacy* called "Argument from ignorance" . Ignorant people are utterly unaware they're committing this fallacy because they reason:"If something hasn't been disproven then everything could exist." It's also called shifting the burden of proof. Ignorance + fear + Hollywood/games = one stupid person believing anything he or she doesn't understand. Your comment is perfect example of thatt. "I fear what I don't understand so my reaction obviously is fear when I try to assess these things." That's what you are really saying. Tell me. Can you even find two countries on a world map or name two international organizations? No? But you DO understand the world and the reason for your own fear... Sigh.

@Mr.JesseR
@Mr.JesseR 11 ай бұрын
@@wearetheremnants1615 one thing to add, to go that deep, you need stronger or thicker materials. think about the titan submarine. this used that technology you are talking about actually. what we as humanity are missing, is ways to manufacture materials that are PERFECT. yet we cannot. the titan sub was indeed calculated to go to the depths it was used for, but the materials weren't good enough. most militairy subs can probably go a meter or 100 deeper than that they are rated for, but the materials will probably fail. when the materials are too weak you can choose to thicken them. but if you keep doing that, it just gets too heavy. maybe in 50 years we'll have militairy subs that can go that deep, but thats a very optimistic view
