Personal conviction: The rockin’ rollercoaster ride in Hollywood Studios, Disney World needs to be changed to P&F theming. They HAVE A ROLLER COASTER SONG. Disney is continuously paying AC/DC or whatever licensing on the ride and it would make way more sense to be the Disney original IP.

On the topic of the revival being placed in 2008. It could actually be plausible to say that Dan Povenmire and Swampy would actually do that as smartphones actually took off in around the 2007-2008 range with the first iPhone releasing in June of 2007, which is the summer the original series, as well as a long list of other smartphones released in 2008. So Ferb having a smartphone in the Candace Against the Universe DPOM isn’t too far fetched for the timeframe.

Phineas and Ferb's catalouge was really well designed. Dan and Swampy really seem to know how to create great shows for a while, and refused to profit off of it, which shows the love and respect they had for this show. This isn't like John Lasseter, who made the Cars series into a billion dollar toy company out of the blue. They really stuck to their guns and refused to merchandise and compromise the integrity of their show, even if that compromise meant success. They are quite loyal with their brand and don't have any regrets about selling it off.

Fun fact: Dan Povenmire's daughter voices Gretal in that show Hamster and Gretal. Yeah, sure, it's not that great, considering it follows a lot of traditional Disney channel storylines, with a person with a secret identity either being a pop star, a psychic, or in this case, fighting crime and not letting the world know! That unfortunately leads to a lot of conflicts, but Phineas and Ferb and many other Disney shows didn't exactly have storytelling as their strong suit.

49:11 I'm honestly a bit concerned about that. I really hope Dan and Jeff know what they're getting into by rebooting a beloved Disney show again. And not just any show.... probably the biggest cartoon to ever hit the channel. And that says a lot. This is a really big high risk, high reward kind of deal here, with the fact that a lot of shows have gone on past their wavelength and run into seasonal rot. But fortunately, it's the original creators working on it again, and they seem to have a big grasp on what makes the show work. That being said, I wish they did address Phineas and Candace's biological father a bit more. Because he is an intergral part to why Phineas and Ferb seem to get away with creativity, and Candace isn't able to do the same things that they do, persumably due to having an abusive father. I think if Dan and Jeff were able to dive into this aspect, it would make the show worthwhile and actually make sense continuing. That being said, it is a much, much, better idea to continue this show than it is to continue Kim Possible, because KP didn't have Schooley and McCorkle at the helm of the live-action director's debut. Because of this, the movie bombed on Disney Channel, despite KP being the biggest cartoon on Disney channel before Phineas and Ferb, and the reason why it hasn't garnered as much nostalgia outside of a few millenials, whereas Candace Against The Universe was helmed by the same guys who worked on the show, and was given the care and quality control that it deserved, whereas KP was just a soulless live-action cash grab based on nostalgia bait!
