I love these analyses Sarah. For some reason you remind me of Leonardo Da Vinci and the Vitruvian Man when you do them. Don't dumb them down, that's what makes them so interesting. Also, you're getting better models. Some of your other ones were too young without as starker side effects of aging which doesn't put the results in as much relief. You can really see how sharp your eye is and skilled you are when the model really needs it. She had a full-on face lift which people 30 years ago used to get all kinds of invasive surgery for a similar result. No offence love, to the model, we're all in the same anti-aging boat. This model had hooded eyes which make a person look so tired, sad and angry, that could be another video in itself, you could get amazing results with botox but they just don't last. Also, if you do one, could talk about longer term options like blepharoplasty, if you do that.
@DrSarahTonks6 жыл бұрын
Joshua Taylor 💗 thank you! I don’t do anything surgical, I’m all non surgical but I might do a video about surgical options with a plastic surgeon I know. I’ll probably get him on when the channel gets a bit bigger, like maybe 5k subscribers. At the moment I’m just trying to figure out what people like! Any comments or suggestions let me know. I wasn’t sure that people liked the ratios because when I did it for a couple of youtubers their audiences were quite scathing!

Wish you were in Australia. Not only do I have allergy shiners from chronic rhinitis and mouth breathing. I also need jaw surgery as I never had a functional appliance when I had braces as a teenager! Looks like I’ll be exploring fillers for under the eyes but the cost of corrective surgery for my jaw is unfortunately out of my budget. Are functional appliances to expand the palate and correct jaw positioning suitable for adults?

I love how you identified the vectors, I have said it 1000 times but I need that!!, Im looking forward to be your patients. Btw- in the last conference a doctor comment to us that Radiesse lies stating that last up to 15 months, that usually in 3 is already gone... is that true?
@DrSarahTonks6 жыл бұрын
Alberto Leguina ah I disagree! I think it has good longevity. I think what people mean when they say that is that they cannot *feel* the product in there anymore. And it’s true you cannot feel it, but it has stimulated the body to produce more collagen there so the result remains

@MrVinceMunro6 жыл бұрын
Amazing how you improve people but they still look natural afterwards! You'd think she just has a relaxting vacation and a good night of sleep. I do think her eyes make her look a bit tired, is it possible to lift the hooded eyelids or would an upper eyelid surgery be the only solution for that?
@DrSarahTonks6 жыл бұрын
Ryan White yes for sure we could a bit and I think they would really help. I’d use some more filler for that and also maybe a device to help to contract the skin on the upper eyelids. We didn’t do more because there’s a limit to how much you can do in a day, plus some patients aren’t up for doing everything my persnickety mind suggests!
@MrVinceMunro6 жыл бұрын
Oh that's really cool, how long would the eyelids look lifted if you do that?

Hi! This is my first video watching of yours.she looks fresher and uplifted. Is there anything that can be done with the little roll of fat directly under the lower eyelid? I have this and wondering if there are non surgical options to correct this.. thanks I’m advance if you have any ideas on this

@joshuataylor60876 жыл бұрын
Also, could I please ask a quick question, I tried to find the answer myself on the internet but couldn't come up with anything authoritative. Working out and intense exercise wreak havoc on the filler but you've gotta do what you've gotta do. The other day, I discovered a oral hyaluronic acid supplement at the health store, it's just a hypothesis but would that have any effect on the preservation of filler or your body's own hyaluronic acid stores in the skin's connective tissues?
@DrSarahTonks6 жыл бұрын
Joshua Taylor ive never seen any published evidence on this so all we can do is make a hypothesis. When we take those oral supplements bits of hyaluronic acid circulate in the body and trick your body into thinking it needs to restore it as there are more breakdown pieces circulating. I don’t think it will do anything to prevent the breakdown of your filler but at least it might keep your skin looking good whilst doing so!

Love it!! I don´t know if this is cientific precise but I feel my face more tired and "going down" when I skip the gym. I´m trying to go every day and I feel like after the workout that my skin looks more plumped. After the shower I can see the diference, looks like I had a subtle face lifting. Doctor, is there any research that supports that? I mean, my face gets all red and flushed so I think maybe the blood circulation can promote that effect?
