hi First Round Capital, would you mind if I embed your video on my website as part of examples and testimonials where companies used Design thinking. I just love how well, think conversation illustrates how DT can really work in the design of a business... It would drive traffic to your youtube?

“You don’t have scale.” Wow, wishlist, tap into aspiration engagement- creative will lead. Track with data.

DOES anyone know about similar cases of how design thinking has improved an start up or a service??? links?
I dont understand the "dont scale" message and how its helpful?

Praveena Jilles I think it's more about exploration and finding customer needs and making improvements first. Then figure out how to scale it afterwards. Because they still take pics and have better photography just took the initial idea with a non scaleable action to learn the lesson then scaled it after. Make sense?
@DavidLangLeadership3 жыл бұрын
I believe the message was don't limit your ideas to only those that scale. Sometimes a one-off is a game changer.

It’s the same as “don’t worry about the business case or ROI” before you proceed to experiment and then measure the results

This guy is definitely a fan of Steve Jobs. He's like quoted him three times already and I'm not even half way done.

I bet he is less of an ashore than Steve :P

Someone should have used design thinking to turn off that freaking projector that was beaming onto his head throughout the presentation hahaha! Turn it off ffs!
@ijsbert61743 жыл бұрын
Or just use a black background for the slides! I was thinking the same haha

Great video, but how does all of this success relate to a poorly lit & poorly filmed video? Joe Gebbia must be appalled at the low quality of this video. Think about it: Is this the kind of first impression that Joe or First Round wanted to make? HM, a concerned filmworker who knows a few things.

I appreciate these guys but they have no idea what they are talking about. Most of these young guys got lucky and now all of a sudden they are qualified to speak. I guess. They don't really offer any meaningful info. Idk

I agree and wears glasses to look the part, there is nothing here on design thinking
