Another element to consider. Dillingham gave his $ to his staff and to prove his leadership and how it rubs off on the players. Sam Leavitt gave $ to his teammates from jersey sales. Shows you that the players watched and admired what he did.

Was never a Pollack fan, but when he played, he wasn't a ridiculously talented athlete. He was a pure football player, an overachiever. I think he sees a lot of ASU players who share his same attitude and drive.

Going to be a drop off next year. Championship teams are a special 1 off phenomenon. 2025 prediction- 7-5

Will be better next year. Most 2 deep are returning, loaded HS Class of Dillingham recruits, portal will be who Dillingham wants..

@mxmissile4588 first, don't like your own comment. That's bad form. Second, Scatteboo single handedly won half their games for them.

With all due respect, you're an idiot. This is a *culture* change. Maybe they'll be in the CFP again next year, maybe they won't. But those 6- and 7-win seasons are no more.

I agree there will be a drop off just because of losing Skatt. He came in 5th in Heisman voting and it's hard for any team (maybe not Alabama in the 2010s) to replace Heisman level production. That being said I think if we don't lose any of our coordinators we'll be better than 7-5. Looking at the schedule it looks like our four hardest games will all be on the road against CU, ISU, Utah, and Baylor. So your prediction might not be far off but we have a large amount of the team returning which I think will help and some good recruits coming in. I think we'll still be in the thick of the Big-12 race next year baring injuries.
