I was surprised it happened so late in the film and that for the first 90% of the film there was a mini-plot arc about them not being ready since they've been a couple since virtually the first movie. I wouldn't say they were ever "dating" in the conventional sense because, ya know, *Vikings*. First time I've visited your channel, and I love your enthusiasm (and, of course, share your love of all things HTTYD). If I may---the lovely, slow progression of their friendship from "(punch) That's for kidnapping me (kiss) and that's for everything else" to the wedding was so refreshing and really a better way to build a lasting relationship than conventional dating. I think this is what makes the HTTYD franchise so timeless and enduring---it's about love and loyalty in the broadest sense.
