When Hiccup said “When I was a boy”, that means he’s a LOT older now (since he considered 21 to be “young”), hence the beard too. Vikings tend to follow traditions, so I hope and bet this means that Hiccup was comfortable enough to finally make the decision to marry and start a family with Astrid. It only makes sense for the film directors to do it too, everyone ships them and it’s the last film of the series.

Gutam Lakhi I really find the colouring of Luna very interesting, because it seems to make no sense. There doesn't seem to be a use for being completely white. The light fury is obviously just like toothless when it comes to sleeping. It sleeps at night, but it can get up and do stuff pretty much anytime. We know that because we see her in the morning, the middle of the night, and the day all in the trailer alone. Furthermore, pure white doesn't make sense for any kind of natural camouflage no matter what time of day it is. White doesn't hide u in the sky either, so it seems like purely a design choice

The light fury is beautiful, I like her design and her name. But in my opinion, I think I would have gotten more hyped if we got another night fury instead of a new species, for a few reasons. 1 It’s a bit cliche for animal romances, a pale female counterpart to the lead. 2 Night Furies are seen as extremely Elusive, Knowing their so rare adds to the excitement factor. 3 There is no buildup. Toothless had tons, it was an epic moment when Hiccup found him. If light furies were foreshadowed earlier, this would be a better reveal.

Ok if the movie takes inspiration from the last book where the dragons need to leave the humans what they do is they hide the sea dragons go underwater the ground dragons underground etc so if the dragons have to leave in the movie they might take inspiration from the books

Toothless resembles many actually existing animals. My black cat looks and behaves a lot like Toothless ☺ And it has been confirmed that the animator had a lot of his creative ideas because he closely watched his newly acquired cat. Toothless doesn't look like any species of dog, but he certainly behaves a bit like a dog as well. And yes, you are right: he looks a bit like an axolotl - especially the extensions on his head definitely seem to have been borrowed from an axolotl.

There was no significant delay, the Netflix series just ended last year. As a result, I'm hoping this movie has more elements of the series mentioned than the second movie. The second movie failed to incorporate much from the original Cartoon Network series, except for the beginning scene where the various breeds they discovered in the series are shown for a minute.
