Holt breaking out is a problem for TNT kasi sa defense, effective na si Holt so kapag pati offense nya ay nagclick mas mahirap kalaban sa defense un kasi may momentum pa sa offense. Sa TNT hirap hirap yung khobuntin sa defense vs JB na sobrang pagod na sa offense para makatulong.

Ginebra right now has starting to find their game. First 2 games, nakipagsabayan Kasi sa pace ng TNT kaya medyo di makabalik and maayos ang defense nila. Now, They let the game come into them and sila na ang nagdictate ng pace rn kaya TNT is starting to react kung ano ang binabato ng Ginebra. Good thing also that lumalabas na ang supporting cast ni JB. Holt starting to show his defensive prowess as well as yung scoring nya, Mav, Japeth and Scottie are slowly showing up RJ also starting to show up. And tonight, quality shots off execution medyo nawawala na ang home run plays.

finally holt got his game, need lang talaga nya is set up, not from dribble yung tira nya sa labas, tama tnt nagkamali talaga, binigyan nila ng chance magkarhytm si JB, then nung 2nd half GINEBRA figured out the only play they are doing, drive and kick to the corner, yan lang ginagawa nila na play, nahuli na nila yun, plus they find a way to make RHJ switch sa ibang player and jb will do his thing once di si rhj ang defender nya, yun ang ginawa nila this game...sana we take 3-2 next game, about sa foul akala ko talaga 13 freethrows binigay nila sa 1st half then 2nd half ginawa din sa ginebra sobrang dami foul sa ginebra

One thing I noticed is how both teams have been trying to do more ball pressures to neutralize each others' offensive capabilities. If Barangay Ginebra is going to win they will need to replicate their game 3 grind out vicotory however LA wont always make most of his shots so the burden should go to RJ and Holt. I dont think papaiskorin ulit ni RHJ si Brownlee ng 34 points, aasawahin na niya yan after what happened in game 4.

I felt the ploy to put RHJ on scotty was for him to be able to help on defense from the weak side on post esp JB because scotty is not a spot up shooter. His game is more slashing, post up, rebounding, & playmaking. I think they will take scotty making the outside shots rather than doing his stuff but in a good day Scotty can be a streak shooter & when that happens usually it is hard to stop ginebra because you have to get a body on scotty to Keep him off the boards, drives & playmaking. If Scotty can have the mentality to take the open shots if given to him like say a Ray Allen he will be a nightmare. Stephen Holt must be consistent to find the balance between defense & offense. He himself admitted that when asked. Also if he could be more like Klay Thompson who moves alot without the ball to get his shots he will also be a problem to defend.

Those shots maverick made was a dagger. I thought Mav was a better choice to win the bpg but holt deserves it as well no doubt about it. One big adjustment Ginebra did was to lessen the number of times TNT is running. When TNT is running and RHJ have the ball for me it feels like there is a 90% of chance that they will score. It's either RHJ will go strong to the hoop or he will do a kick out pass to a shooter. They limit their 3 pt attempt in game 3 to prevent TNT getting long rebound and start a fast break. But when Ginebra was hitting their 3 pt shots in game 4 I thought TNT all of the sudden got lost with their diffensive rotation and their offense was somehow controlled by Ginebra as well since they are not able to run the way they wanted to. I thought TNTs defense will frustrate your offense and allow you to hit long shots that is highly contested. RHJ is a very Good guard defender which normally disrupts the flow of the offense of the other team which I think the reason why they put RHJ on Scottie in Game 4.

Feeling ko kaya dn sobrang off ng Ginebra nung first 2 games kc last ang San Miguel pgdating sa defense and somehow nadala ng ginebra ung ganun na defense nung sa Tnt. On other hand nmn, Tnt ung pinaka magaling sa defense so somehow nagulantang ung ginebra pero xmpre knowing Coach Tim and ginebra mgad2just yan, tpos galing pa mgpa-pick s laro, right time tlga.
