People are starting to forget that Ginebra is a solid defensive team, and they excel when they play a defensive game. kahit no. 1 defensive team ang TNT, Ginebra also loves to play a defensive game and they excel on it as well. Kala lang ng mga casuals, puro opensa ang Gins but Ginebra's defense can fuel their offense. Also, they did a great job dictating the pace of the game, letting TNT to play slow, methodical pace instead of a fast paced, transition oriented offense. Also, Ginebra defense forced TNT to change their offense from PnR to RHJ iso, praying that he gets a shot or he makes a good kickout passes to shooters pero the shooting gone cold, RHJ gets scouted well and thus the TNT offense gone cold. Alam ni CTC anong defense nila when an opponent relies on one main guy to keep their ship afloat. Tsaka Si Calvin Oftana is better when he's a catch and shoot guy, when he has the ball, may times na nalilito sya kung ititira nya o ipapasa nya, and Ginebra let Calvin have the ball many times. For Ginebra, LA and JDV minutes set the tone of Ginebra's offense, they slow down the pace and let TNT play with their pace. Also the effort that I wanna see is starting to show up. Nagcocontest na sila ng shots kaunti na lang ang wide open shots. I expect sana more of it.

boss magaling kp mag paliwanag dto s dalawang to eh... on point lht ng sinabi m....ung nagawa ng ginebra ilimit ang Tnt n 70+ points lng... thats defense...plus ginebra goes old school set play.. more triangle.. d tulad nung g1 and g2.... takbo ng takbo kya npapagod cla.. relax cla kahit maputukan ng shot clock ginebra bsta set play cla...depensa and going back to old scholl ang nagpanalo s gins...

@@marvinmelgarejo6755Actually yan din yung isa sa napansin ko on that game.. Half Court slowdown pacing.. Mas marami yung ginawa nilang Triangle offense... Tapos.. Yung Switching defense nila sa PNR.. effective.

bago rin naman naging offensive team ang ginebra, they're once a powerhouse defensive team, kumbaga this game, bumalik lang sila sa roots nila, grit and grind kind of game, slow pace but making sure makakakuha ng good looks. Isa pang factor, yung veterans such as LA and JDV showing experience. but still, need pa rin nila hanapin shooting nila esp outside.

As much as I love Rj buti nlng limited minutes lng, nata2ke advantage kc siya nung first 2 games. Ung mga games tlga sa finals sobrang lake ng roles ng beterano. So glad to see LA and JDV making that difference, although sobrang grind out game to ng Ginebra. Takes me back nung fast and furious Game 4 finals 2016 😅

Ginebra finally made their shots which helped their confidence & that translated to their game planned finally working on both ends of the floor Regarding Japeth , coach Raiko Toronan once said if Japeth can have the level of basketbdll IQ of Chris Tui he will be a dominant player. For me, if I was Japeth or part of his inner circle in terms of his basketball career thete are a lot if things I would have done to work on his game both mentally & physically. According to Coach Ryan Gregorio Japeth is bar none the most athletic pure Filipino basketball player he has seen. For me personally I would love to imagine Japeth to be like Ramon Fernandez with added 3pt shooting range, mind blowing! I would settle for the skills set of Ranidel de Ocampo its more realistic.

Sa tingin ko since na nsa TNT ang control ng final series isi-secured na nila ang G4 para 1 win away nlang sila sa championship. Then mag re-relax ulit sila sa G5 at mananalo ulit ang Ginebra. Then G6 kukunin na nila ang panalo. Ayon din yan sa time frame na sinabi ni Chot reyes na mag-champion sila sa G6. Kaya hindi parin ako manonood ng mga susunod na laro nila. Dahil pag natatalo ang Ginebra, hindi ako nakakatulog. at ang resulta tumataas ang BP ko! Pero pag nagkaroon ng G7 manonood na ulit ako dahil baka mag iba na ang tempo ng laban. Anyways, congrats Ginebra team! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I think the factor why tnt is ahead is they are motivated to topple ginebra and it works at the same time chot knows how to defend the triangle since chot was a part of it before also.

Japeth was obviously ill. Di lang sinabi dahil sya ang aatakihin ng tnt. Limited rotation ang gins kaya they tried to slow the game down. They wanted to establish their halfcourt game that's why Tenorio started so he can set the phase. Alam nila na pag takbuhan, di nila kaya tnt.

big minus si japeth, lets be real, kita naman lahat ng turnover that turn into score ng tnt sa kanya, tama si sir mario, he keeps on switching sa guards ng tnt na naiiwan sa ilalim si erram, and then once nagswitch sya wala na sya gagawin di sya babalik sa loob to get the rebound, may sequence pa na kelangan sya sigawan ni coach tim na bumaba agad at dahil naglakad lang sya naka 3pt play si RHJ sa ilalim, then nung nilabas sya bumagsak si scottie tapos nagmamando sya sa labas na bumaba agad then iiling iling na kala mo si scottie pa ang lalamya lamya sa depensa...the problem din is LA playing well, ralph cu doing well scoring and passing the ball, bigla sila ilalabas that is annoying seeing na in rhythm pa yung player tapos ang ipapalit pa saknila is yung struggling at alam mong walang hulog sa laro na si japeth...at dahil din jan JB is now on his limits...bumibigay na yung katawan nya dahil need nya kumayod kahit sobra na depensa saknya...san if japeth will play like this again sa game 4, ibangko nalang kase wala din naman, no rebounds no defense no advantage na alam naman natin napakalaking lamang nya kay erram..and sana next conference with import, better ipahinga muna si JB grabe na pagod ng mama na to
