Wow, such a great person and teacher. I am also interested in teaching abroad. Would you recommend China or Hong Kong. I have graduate from ESL department and seems like Asia is the only place where i can fulfill my dreams. Is there any way you can help me ?

Thank you for your comment. If I had a choice, I would definitely move to Hong Kong, but besides you need to be a native speaker, they prefer to hire their own people, cuz company needs to have a reason why they want to hire foreigner instead of a resident of Hongkong. Advantage of Hong Kong is that most people know English, so life is easier, but in China it’ll be easier to find work. In WeChat there are many agents who are helping to find job, you can start searching from there

Hmm I guess you are right, but what about the living cost of Hong Kong ? If I'm to offered around 30k HKD, is it enough to live ? There is a school that offered me something around that but I'm not sure since the comments are indicating that it's really harsh living there bc of the high cost of living. And also is there any school that you know which can offer me ESL job in China ? I have improved myself way far so I believe i am qualified enough. Btw thank you so much for your answer. I just envy you guys.

@@goddessofmine4781 I visited Hong Kong four years ago so probably prices changed much already, but even then life was expensive there, especially rent costs. I think it's better to ask such questions to people who are living in Hong Kong. About china, I'm in a really small city, there are really no more job opportunities here. You should check by yourself in bigger cities.
