My favorite videos of yours are on the inflation of a country. I’m glad you pointed out that you have a goal to do more of those videos. I hope you part of the video discusses in more detail the history that lead up the inflation as well as how it effects the normal person in that country.

I just watched this video and have a couple thoughts, Uptin: I think the brief videos are actually one of the keys to your success. You mentioned having a goal of making them longer. I used to watch Peter Santenello more until I found your videos. Peter is a lot like you: a traveller / video maker / entrepreneur / KZbinr. I still like what he does. But his videos can run over half an hour long. As a young Gen-X / old millennial, I don't have the attention span for that. I like how you break yours up into manageable "chapters", even within the same country you're visiting, which allows us to reach a good stopping point in a timely manner when they are so many other things vying for our attention. We can continue when we're ready by clicking the next video. On another note -- I wonder if the climb in KZbin subscribers might have something to do with the popularity of smart TVs. For example, we just replaced our old TV with a new smart TV. It comes equipped with the KZbin app automatically installed. I always used to watch you on Facebook. But once we got the TV, I had my husband subscribe to you on KZbin in order to more easily watch your videos on there together. Anyways, you have a natural talent, genuine curiosity, and a likeable personality so you are sure to go far no matter what you do. Keep up the great work. Best regards - Amber in Orange County, CA

Great work uptin. How did you find a good video editor?
@morestuff640582 жыл бұрын
Congrats. I supported you and watched your videos before you even reached 100k. You were showing us the real sides of countries that were destroyed by Western Propaganda. You go to countries that are destroyed by the west and show the true side. You go to them first before even judging them. And because of that You earned many subscribers and I'm one of them

Please prove me wrong. I don't think you have the "it" factor. Subscribers will still trickle in very slowly. I enjoy your pleasant personality. Keep going if you can. Thanks

5:43 you mention quantity over quality when starting out. I think you are perfect example of that. I first saw guy on Drew Binsky and looked through your earlier videos. You’re videos have improved tremendously in large part because you did videos and where able to tell what audiences liked by a bit of trial and error. You’re videos now have more direction and focus than earlier and this is possible because you were able to do so many videos as “practice”. You are at the point now where quality matters more and the bigger your Channel gets, the more important quality becomes. They say the best way to improve is to do something often and get feedback often and quickly. This is why or practicing your good swing leads to great improvement over time because you get immediate feedback - where did the ball land? But performing certain surgeries or operations - well, sometimes you don’t get feedback on success for months which make it more difficult to learn from.
@uptin2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much. Yes it was a learning. But perfection is honestly the enemy sometimes !!
