And honestly, I usually frog or trash because I either forgot what I was doing or am lost in the pattern to finish it 🤣 I have that same personality too though. I ignore it hoping it'll go away and get better and it just get WORSE. and then it's so much to handle that I don't know where to start. I have a 2 project limit for myself now after too many WIPs caused extreme anxiety for me. It was difficult to get down to two but I was determined not to ever feel that level of anxiety again! If I want to start a new project when I have two going I have to make a decision … finish or frog one project NOW. You did a great job organizing today!! I saw Wonder Crochet come up with a WIP jar. She writes down all of her unfinished projects and draws one lye at random on "WIP Wednesday". I thought it was a great idea that I am working on implementing myself. I just have to get motivated to write them all down. Lol

I just commented but feel I have to comment again. For another crochet unrelated project I placed an order with a scrapbooking company, and included with the pretty papers was a little card that I keep on my craft desk. It says, “I am creative. You cannot expect to clean the house, too.” 😂

I have a love of making things. It gives me warm fuzzies when I finish projects BUT between all of my craft styles (crochet, tumblers, pens etc) I have more wips than i can count. My daughter teases me constantly because I get bored and jump from project to project. 😂 It's become the joke that if you really want to know how bad my ADHD is.. look at my wips. 😂

Love it! I’m actually finishing all my wips this weekend 20 projects total. So not horrible. I keep a basket dedicated to wips, when it’s full, I spend Friday (and into the weekend if needed) to finish all of them.

I use to set Fridays as my "finish up Friday" to finish up wips.... you are such a motivator that I'm definitely going to get back into it.... I feel best when I have at least 3 projects or more going at a time and have a feel good Friday when they are all finished up.

Last year, I had like 20 wips. I frogged about 7 of them, finished 4 blankets, amigurumi, shawls, and hats before the new year. This year, I have one crochet project ( a raglan sweater for me). I won’t allow myself to start something else until I finish it and my goal this year is to work on my yarn stash. We’ll see

I am just learning how to crochet so honestly I only have one large throw blanket for my daughter. Argh I feel like I am never going to finish it but I only have about 24 inches in height left. I just joined a book club and i was the same. So anxious about not finishing the book because I didn't like it. I finished it and got to the meeting and only a couple of us actually finished it. No one else could get through it. And we spent not even 10 minutes talking about the book and then it was drinking wine, eating and hanging out.

My WIP stash is out of control. I reorganized to get them into 3 places: a medium sized bin, a 3x6 cube shelf has 14 cubes filled with WIPs and then I have 6 project bags hanging on a door. I need to play finish or frog so badly, but I don't want to give up and frog things that should be frogged.

My worst is a cardigan i started for my son 3 YEARS ago... but i accidentally made it too big and i think this year it will fit him perfectly 😂. I went into this video, fully prepared to not judge because same. But then I saw how many you have and literally said out loud “Camryn!!! 😮 what is all that?!” 😂 7:01 this is me about studying!😂😂 literally one of my goals for this quarter (thank you for that advice) is to change my perspective on school and studying. Okay back to the video. You know, I am a perfectionist as well but I LIVE for the disorder. I am the kind of person that I spread out and I want everything where I can see it at all times. It’s only when I’m super stressed about something else that I start to clean/organize. My grandmother gave my mom and later me this poster of a messy room that says “it’s my mess and I love it” and it’s still so true. 😂😂 I think if my area is clean, it means I haven’t done anything in a while and I need to correct that. As an avid fantasy reader, the narrator will make or break that book!! There are GREAT books out there… but I can’t do it if the narrator is not good.

I'm not type A - but I always have to finish what I start too. I have been better about not being as bad about it with things that don't matter, but my parents really wanted me to go to law school, and I told my parents I wasn't going to apply because that's not what I want to do (especially since I turn 30 this year) and I knew that if I got into UGA law school, I would kill myself until I got my law degree...and for what? That's not my passion, not what I want to do, and I have other plans in mind for myself.

Oh my gosh is the book you're talking about Fourth wing?! Because I've listened to it and I know it's super popular right now but I just didn't like it. And the reader is super annoying. 😅 it got interesting in the last like 30 minutes enough to get me to try the 2nd book but man MAYBE 3 stars.... maybe. 😂
