Have you guys ever played Last blade 2? This is one of the most underrated games I've ever played! The arcade mode though? BROKEN! I absolutely had a blast playing through this. I definitely recommend trying it out!

This game is popular in our region. Long ques in the arcades. But it's like the side chick of the strongest players in the arcade. Because there is a long que on sf3, the top players over there will join last blade while waiting for their turn

Its on PSN theres sometimes sales for it. It came out around the same time as Garou,KoF98, 3rd Strike and MvC1n 2. So it got overshadowed. However the game is a masterpiece imo

It's great to see you playing my favorite fighting game of all time :). Most of the time when you jump Hibiki and Lee will try to anti-air you so if you can time the deflection when you jump 90% of the time you will be able to start a combo after you do an air deflect. Also if you finish the game with one coin you get a special credit scene anda link to a web page ( that is now down) I didn't had internet at the time so I never knew what was on that site. Does anyone know what that webpage had?

Only discovered Last Blade 2 when I found out about emulation, and played Samurai Showdown 1-4 in the arcades. That being said Last Blade 2>Samsho cuz of cool combos while Samsho is more slow and calculated.

Yeah. They are effectively two very different fighting games. Last blade is probably a bit more similar to something like KOF where the combos are fairly free and impressive looking. Samson is more like soul calibur. While there are combos, most are short (like opener, ender short) but one hit can potentially take out a large portion of health, meaning having effective pokes is very important.

When I first played this game in Chinatown Fair back in 1999, it was impossible to play due to its cheap ass CPU A.I. on level 8. It wasn't until I purchased this game for the Sega Dreamcast the next year in 2000, and it was still kind of hard to play through the game-even on the easiest level. It started off fairly easy, but as I progressed through it, was so damn to pass the final boss. And yes, it was one of those SNK fighting games that had it's infamous boss syndrome. And best believe me when I say so, Koryuu was absolutely no exception to that rule. It made me want to rage after a few continues, but eventually I beat the game with several characters. My easiest character I ever beat this game with was Takane Hibiki. I miss this game with a passion. I wonder how Hibiki would play in the new Samurai Shodown game at my arcade next time I get there one weekend.

Seems like Lee AI are so good and pulid. I think this game have 1 of the greatets punish and not based only in frames, cuz lot of chars have grapps and parrys to breake combos as well. I think if this game recived some fix over AI to match up and adapt game plan more fast can be 1 of the best challenge for any FG player. I really like this game so much, and even i play just a little, but we all can see how good this game still are. Like i say, with some fix over game plan to adapt styles gives game a higher challenge for anybody. Cheers Justin!! Take care your dagther a lot!! They are the best in this planet no matter what.
