Both Last Blade series were underrated. Btw, If you are at low hp, you have unlimited super though you have to fill your speed/power guage for max super/desperation moves.

Can't do super desperations in Speed mode, only Power and EX.

@@Wolfedge75 EX is a combination of Power and Speed with a bit less HP. It all depends on how good you are with the character you chose.

That final round was intense. I'd also like to see some SamSho V Special sometime, too. I discovered Last Blade 2 when I was in high school and immediately fell in love with it. Don't know if it was the battle system, the art, the music or just Hibiki. You know, maybe it was all of that, come to think of it....

Great game! Reminds me of Art of Fighting 3 with swords which makes sense as it's done by Matsumoto same guy who created Street Fighter and Art of Fighting. Last Blade is one of those late SNK fighting games that were like works of art. Wish they would go back to using dot art again

I really hope this series (or something like it) comes back. I feel like we don't see many weapons-based fighters and I've always kind of liked that high stakes, one-hit style that games like Bushido Blade used. That reminds me, I actually saw a vid with a sword master reacting to Hellish Quart, an early access game inspired by Bushido, with physics & realistic sword-handling. It looks like a lot of fun. #HAPPYLOGIDAYS
